Extra class added to the calendar! πŸŽ‰
πŸ“ Tuesday 8th September 19:00
Forest School, Horsham

I’d deliberately left this one off as it’s the day after I get back from a festival and wasn’t convinced I’d be feeling particularly fresh! 🫣

BUT… after all the disruption we’ve had with a cancelled class & venues being unavailable, I didn’t really want to disrupt our flow again quite so soon. So I’ve decided to suck it up, get myself there and give it my best shot β€” even if I’m running on festival fumes! πŸ˜΄πŸ˜‚

So I’ll bring whatever energy I have left… you guys are going to have to bring the rest! πŸ˜œπŸ•ΊπŸ»πŸͺ©

And for those of you that have already bulk booked your classes β€” thank you! πŸ™πŸ» But you do now have another one to book if you want it! πŸ˜…

It’s now live on the booking site, so glow for it! πŸš₯πŸŽ‰

πŸ’œ The Clubbercise loyalty card is making a comeback! πŸ’œ

As some of you know, we previously had a loyalty card where you could collect stamps for attending classes and work towards earning a free class πŸͺ©βœ¨

I had to make the decision to pause it for a while, but always said it wasn't gone forever... and now I'm going to TRIAL bringing it back from September through to the end of December! πŸŽ‰

I'll be keeping an eye on how it goes over the next few months, both for you and behind the scenes for me, and then I'll decide whether it's something we can continue into 2027.

Keep an eye out for more details coming soon, including a reminder of how the loyalty card works! πŸ‘€

Confirming normal service has resumed & tonight's class is going ahead! πŸ₯³

πŸ“ Forest School, Horsham
πŸ•– Tuesday 19:00

Thank you so much for bearing with me. I know our Tuesday routine has completely gone out of the window over the last few weeks, but I’d absolutely love for you to come back & join me through August (& beyond!) πŸͺ©πŸš₯

I’ve even learnt a new warm-up ready for you guys tonight! πŸ‘€

And don’t forget, some of you have a class transfer in hand, so please don’t be shy β€” feel free to contact me if you’d like to use it tonight or any other time.

See you later! πŸ•ΊπŸΌβœ¨

πŸ’œ Want to support your local Clubbercise instructor? Here's how! πŸ’œ

With the cost of running classes continuing to rise (including yet another venue price increase! πŸ˜…), I thought I'd share a few simple ways you can help that don't necessarily cost you anything extra.

✨ Book your classes in advance – if you're able to! It really helps me plan ahead and gives me confidence that a class is viable to run. And don't forget, if your plans change, you can transfer your booking to another class as long as it's done more than 12 hours before the session.

✨ Book multiple classes in one go – I get charged a transaction fee every time someone books, so booking a few classes together means fewer fees.

✨ Booking with a friend? If one of you books you both on in the same transaction, that also helps keep those transaction fees down too.

✨ Like, comment and share my social media posts – it helps more people see them than you probably realise!

✨ Tell your friends, family and colleagues – word of mouth is still one of the biggest ways small local businesses grow.

Every one of these little things genuinely makes a difference and helps keep Clubbercise glowing in our local community. Thank you to everyone who already does these things (often without even realising!) and to everyone who supports my classes in any way. It really is appreciated πŸ’œπŸͺ©

🌳 It's BACKKKK!🌳

With works taking place at St. Gabriel's Church Hall, we're back glowing outside in Coolham for the summer! β˜€οΈ

We'll be there replacing our regular Thursday evening class at 19:45, until September*

Bookings are already coming in, so don't miss out!

Obviously it won't be our usual dark(ish) sessions and discolights may be a bit few & far between, but we'll still have the music getting us moving & some sweaty fun all the same! πŸ•ΊπŸ»πŸ’¦

*I daren't say this, BUT... classes will run subject to weather - if it suddenly decides to chuck it down non-stop, we may have to reassess, but otherwise we will continue as normal! πŸ˜‚β˜”

Let's glow in the park! 😎

πŸŽ’βœ¨ Back to School, Back to Clubbercise βœ¨πŸŽ’

As September soon rolls in and routines start to reset, I thought it would be the perfect time to bring a little extra motivation to get you back into the glow of things!

I’ve created a one-time discount code that can be used on your first class back in September at any of the venues – whether that’s Billingshurst, Horsham, or Dial Post. The one-time code can be used on any one class booking in September, just add your classes to the basket like normal & enter the code when prompted at checkout.

Discount code: BK2GLOW

It’s a great opportunity to get back into routine after the summer, try a different class or venue, or bring a friend along to experience Clubbercise for the first time.

The one-time code is valid on your first September class booking.

Whether you’re glowing with me all summer or taking a well-earned break, I’d love to see you back on the dancefloor as we head into autumn.

Here’s to a glowing September πŸ’œ

10 years ago today! 🀯

Did you know I used to play football?

On this day, a whole decade ago, I was recovering from the first of two major knee operations after damaging the ligaments and tendons in a match the previous year.

By the time surgery came around, my knee was so badly damaged it had to be fully reconstructed. I then spent the next five months off work, learning how to walk again, in a delightful full leg brace that I lived, slept (and showered!) in! πŸ™ƒ

I was so wary about returning to sport, but just four short years later, I became a Clubbercise instructor. πŸ’ͺ🏻

I'm still so proud of how far I've come, and it's proof that setbacks don't have to stop your fitness journey... or the fun! πŸ’œβœ¨

Just putting some feelers out... πŸ‘€β˜€οΈ

Last summer I organised a free end-of-summer Clubbercise get-together on West Beach in Littlehampton. The idea was a really relaxed evening with a short unofficial Clubbercise session, beach games, a picnic, etc.

It was a bit of a last-minute idea from me last year, so I'm wondering if it's worth planning another one this summer? I'm thinking either replacing a class at the end of August or holding it on a Friday evening instead.

It'd be around a 40-minute drive to the beach, and all you'd need to pay for is an hour's parking and whatever food/drinks you'd like to bring.

So before I start planning anything... would this be something you'd be interested in? Give this message a πŸ’œ and drop me a comment with your thoughts or preferences.

Thank you πŸ€—
