Mikołaj Kopernik remains one of the world’s best-known scientists.

He proposed the planets move around the ☀️, challenging the idea that the 🌍 is the centre of the universe.

2023 was declared the Year of Kopernik by the 🇵🇱 Senate to mark the 550th anniversary of his birth and 480 years since his death.

What a fantastic experience when you sit at the table with mix couple . They come from different countries and you can share your experiences about culture ,languages ,experiences.
I just love it!
I don't care where you come from but how you trit other people.
Isn't important to.trit all people the same?
I sat at the table with several couples from different countries . I was asking them about their experiences, how is it to be in relation ship with a partner from different country.
All of them have fount something amazing about their partners ,about their home countries
I love this kind of meetings we come from different countries and we can talk about our experiences.

Święconka meaning "the blessing of the Easter baskets," is one of the most enduring and beloved Polish traditions on Holy Saturday.
The Easter eggs are placed in a basket
with some other food such as: white sausages, chrzan, mazurek wielkanocny and bread.
The food in the basket is one of the most important elements during the Easter celebration. Then, the basket is taken to the church to be blessed.

Tradycji stanie sie zadosc,gdy rodzinnie wyruszymy wieczorem na pasterke, by zlozyc czesc Bogu w oczekiwaniu na narodziny Jezusa.
Swieta to rowniez czas refleksji nad wlasnym zyciem I docenieniem sobie tego,co mamy.
Bedac na emigracji,dla mnie wazne jest podtrxymywanie polskiej tradycji,dzielenie sie nia z innnymi,ale rowniez szacunek I zrozumienie dla innnych tradycji.
Wesolych Swiat Bozego Narodzenia, by sie Wam wsxystkim powodzilo tu I teraz,gdzie jest Wasz dom I Wasi bliscy.

It is this time of the year when I have some summaries of the year.
There was another not the easiest year because of covid .
I have had some good and bad moments at my jobs
But in the end of year I am saying again to myself- I love my job and I wouldn't change fir any other.
It is lovely to work with children at school ,adults teaching them languages.
Some words stuck in my head .
When I was coughing in the classroom, one pupil asked me several times- Are you OK Mrs Hollebone? Yes darling. But are you sure you are OK?
How lovely when young people look after you,care about you and say lovely words like- Mrs Hollebone we like play with you and your hair looks lovely today:)
I love my job and I am happy to teach my pupils and my students.

with 30 years experience,teaching Polish and English languages . I teach children and adults ,prepare for Polish exams GCSE.

I have been working for 2 weeks at the school ,where all doors and windows were open and children were out for break time even was heavy rain.
That was the head teacher decision . He thinks he is doing his best and have less covid at his place.
I am not sure about it.
What I have learnt was , how kind pupils could be to me , even I was just a supply teacher . We have had lots of good time learning,chatting, doing exercises, art and talking about their feelings.
How important was for them to ask me, where I come from,what languages do I speak.
How interesting stories I have heart about their background . Best chats I have had lunch time breaks ,also about food they have been eating. How interesting was to see sausage shushi , half Korean, half English girl was having for lunch
or vegetable Samosas, one Indian girl had saying she was vegetarian.
I love talking to pupils from different countries ,who speak English as a second language .
My specialisation is EAL .
That's the beauty of working in UK for me ,meet different people from different countries and teach them :) :) 😀😃🙂🙃😊😇😀😃🙂🙃😊
