Super excited (but a tad nervous too!) to announce that I have uploaded my first YouTube video for my aphasia therapy series.
Please go check it out, give the video a like ππΌ and subscribe to my channel to help spread the word, so it can hopefully help someone with aphasia get started with some therapy.

Love this analogy.
It's similar to the "jug of tolerance" analogy we use in our upcoming FND workbook to explain triggers.
Love this diagram from Dr Juliet Young. Especially useful as we head closer to exam season.

The brain is a very complex organ, and here at The Neuro How, we have tried to make it easier to understand by using analogies and phrases to help remember where the different lobes are in the brain.

It's been some time in the making this workbook. The aim was to get it out by the end of last year but returning to work from mat leave and coming to an end - it got put on hold. π
My aim is that it will get published this year, 2024! As so many of you have helped make it what it is and I want to share it with you all. If it helps just one person then that's mission accomplished π―π
Here's a sneak peak to see who it's for, but also it could be a great resource for family and friends of someone with FND. To help them understand the disorder better and learn how to be an advocate.

Sadly Neuro Rehab Sussex has come to an end as neither Michelle or I can offer the time required to run the business any longer.
Michelle has done a fantastic job of keeping the business up and running whilst Vikki has been on maternity leave and had some fantastic outcomes with her clients.
Vikki is going to move forward with and aim to have the FND workbook out by the end of this year and Michelle will continue her work
Go follow both accounts now and thank you to all of our followers ππ»
