My name is Jill, and I'm a qualified primary school teacher and tutor with over 12 years' experience in teaching and supporting children of all abilities across the primary age range. As a classroom teacher, I am up-to-date on the most effective teaching strategies and I continue to stay abreast of the current research in my field. I understand that every child has unique learning needs and styles, which is why I take a personalised approach to each of my sessions. I take great pride in planning a bespoke curriculum for each student, which ensures that they're being challenged at the appropriate level. All children learn at their own pace and they require different strategies and learning tools in order for them to make progress. I support children in developing their resilience and independence which I believe, are the building blocks to becoming life-long learners. During my sessions, I create a safe and supportive environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I believe that mistakes are a natural part of the learning process, and I encourage my students to view them as opportunities for growth and development. With my extensive experience and individualised approach, I can assist your child to gain confidence and skills. Whether your child is struggling with a particular subject or simply wants to build their confidence in their academic abilities, I would love to help. Please don't hesitate to get in touch to schedule a session or to learn more about my tutoring services.
