Morning, due to unforseen circumstances, Roundabout Pre School will be closed today

World book day tomorrow, children can come to Roundabout in there pyjamas, if they wish to, they may also bring in one of there favourite books that we can all read.

The children have been engaged in so many activities that have been planned around their current interests. We have been doing letter formation as well as recording our families on to paper using a variety of mark making resources.
The children have also been interacting with natural processes by observing ice melting inside and outside and talking about the comparison of this. They also explored creating imaginatively by using frozen paint. Some of the children are developing pretend play through pretending that one thing represents another.

Roundabout is doing their Christmas raffle this year. We are still taking donations for the raffle up untill 12 December, Sarah has been busy creating her amazing hampers 🎄

The cost of the tickets is £1 per number, these can be purchased from Adele via card machine or cash, you can start to purchase raffle tickets from Monday 1st December. We will be handing out Raffle prizes on Tuesday 16th December during our festive afternoon. Letters will be handed out from today regarding more details about our festive afternoon.

Dear parents,

It’s hard to believe I’m even writing this, but after 7 incredible years I will be leaving at the end of next week and therefore it is my time to say goodbye.
Roundabout has been more than just a job — it’s been a second home. Watching your little ones grow, laugh, learn, and become their own unique people has been the absolute highlight of my life. From messy crafts to proud little performances, I’ve treasured every single moment.
Saying goodbye is not easy. These children have filled my days with joy, wonder, and sometimes chaos of the best kind! I’ve laughed with them, cheered them on, and loved them like they were my own. And I’ve also loved getting to know you, the wonderful parents behind each amazing child. Thank you for trusting me, supporting me, and allowing me to be part of your child’s early years. That trust has meant the world to me.
This next step in my journey is bittersweet. I’m excited for what lies ahead, but I’ll carry so many precious memories with me. I’ll miss the hugs, their proud moments, the drawings, the silly dancing, the muddy walks and glitter explosions. Most of all, I’ll miss being part of this little family.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for letting me be a small part of your child’s story. It’s a privilege I’ll never forget.

As we come to the end of the school year we would like to wish everyone a lovely summer. To the children going to school we wish you the best of luck and know you will all continue to flourish. To the children that will be coming back to Roundabout we cannot wait to see you again!
