Year 3 enjoyed their first outdoor learning session of the new school year today, with the focus on knots. They practised tying knots to help them tie their own shoelaces, and learned the reef knot and crown knot, using the latter to help them make their own keyrings out of paracord.

Year 2 have started their science unit looking at objects that are alive, never been alive and dead. They sorted objects into alive and never been alive and then went outside to find objects that were dead. The children found leaves, feathers, sticks, apples and berries.
