Hedgehogs Preschool

We have been embracing Autumn here at Hedgehogs 🍁🎃🕷️
From making pumpkin soup, talking about the sticky, slimy pumpkin insides to making our very own incy wincy spiders.
We’ve had lots of fun mixing colours, hearing seasonal stories and crunching the colourful leaves around us.

Hedgehogs celebrating their learning with their loved ones!

We’ve had a wonderful week making the most of the weather, exploring the trickling water on our new water wall and playing in the large sandpit!
Both indoors and out, our focus has been on owls and birds. The children loved making owl pictures, listening to bird sounds, and building nests while talking about how birds make their homes. We’ve also really enjoyed sharing some favourite owl stories together.

🍓We’ve had a wonderful week settling back into pre-school and making the most of our amazing new outdoor area!

We’ve been learning all about berries and had lots of fun going on our very own ‘berry hunt’! We searched for juicy blackberries and then used them to make our very own natural paint.
We’ve also been enjoying the story ‘Bramble the Brave’ and talking about the importance of always asking a grown-up before eating any berries we find.

What a lovely week of exploring, discovering, learning and getting creative! 💕

A beautiful outdoor area was magically created over summer and our Preschool children are having endless fun soaking up all the new!

We are saddened to share that sometime between 7pm and 6am, our preschool signage was vandalised.

This is incredibly disappointing for our small village school. Our pupils work so hard throughout the year, raising significant funds each term to support and improve their school community. To see something they take such pride in deliberately damaged is both shocking and disheartening.

If anyone has any information that may help identify those responsible, please contact the school office at [email protected].

This incident has been reported to the police. We appreciate any information that could assist with their enquiries.

Thank you for your support.
