With over 17 years experience in childcare, Carly provides a safe and secure setting for children to learn, grow and develop in a home away from home environment. Daisy Chains Childminding offers the following services from Monday to Thursday:

Under 5’s

Early start at 7.30 available. Full day (8am until 6pm)
(Breakfast/lunch/tea and snacks included)

Short day (9am until 4pm)
(Lunch and snacks

included)

15/30 funded hours (wrap around hours negotiable)
(meal charges apply to fully funded children)


Over 5’s wrap-around care

Breakfast & school drop-off (7.30am-8.50am)

School pick up (until 5pm)

School pick up (until 6pm)
(tea included)


School holidays over 5’s

Full day (8am until 6pm)
(Children to bring a packed lunch but hot tea and snacks included)

Short day (9am until 4pm)
(Children to bring packed lunch but snacks included)


Please contact Carly for further information on pricing. All fees must be paid in advance, either weekly or monthly (depending on your contact). Bank transfers, cash and childcare vouchers are all accepted. A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure your child’s place. This will be deducted from your final bill. Depending on the length of time you wish to reserve your child’s place a non-refundable retainer may be charged, this will be discussed at time of registering.

I’ve got to say, I’m not a huge fan on saying NO to “bad, unhealthy, treat” food… we don’t eat it every day and most meals don’t consist of any! But I find a relaxed approach to food and more of a chance to teach about foods and it being about things in moderation and a variety of foods is good! And defiantly how to pair something a bit naughtier with something good for us…
Today is pizza and fruit salad with natural Greek yoghurt with a squeeze of fruit purée…

We still love frozen.. and what a day for extending on that interest! It’s snowing!!!! Magic!!
We used the frozen characters and ice cubes and foam to create a winter wonderland!
The children were very engrossed… lots of talk and exploring. And mark making in the foam… then lots of splashing as the ice melted!!!! 🧊 ❄️

We forgot to post yesterday!! But we went to the valentines messy play session Tiny Tots Horncastle ♥️ we had a great time mark making with the paints!

It was a bit soggy collecting the big kids.. but who doesn’t love an umbrella walk! ☔️

And last of all a lovely warm curry with rice and a naan bread for tea… 🍛 🫓 over and out!

We’ve been out on our adventures again… we went to choose our snack… 🫐 blueberries were the choice today!

We also needed some beans to go with our sausage and mash this evening.. we need to fuel the big kids for the school disco!

We fed the ducks.. and ourselves a little bit! 🍞🦆

And then we went to choose some lovely bright cheerful flowers to brighten things up! 💐
We choose the most colourful bunch.. I can’t wait to see the daffodils open up.. spring is coming!!!
