The name change was initiated by our main instructor, Sifu Donnelly, at the request of his original teacher, Sifu Steve, who was trained by Joseph Lee. Sifu Donnelly aims to incorporate additional disciplines such as Aikido, Jujitsu, and Lau Gar Kung Fu into his classes, with Sifu Steve's support. Students will have the option to learn these new elements, but it will not be mandatory for grading, which will continue to follow the Joseph Lee Wing Chung system. Grading will now be available in London and other locations where Joseph Lee Wing Chun is taught, as we are now part of a larger organization. Existing students will retain their current grades and stripes, and those who have purchased a DA Wing uniform will receive a replacement at no cost. Aside from the name and uniform, all other aspects of training will remain unchanged, as Sifu Donnelly has been teaching Joseph Lee Wing Chung since the beginning.
