East Horley playgroup

Today the weather has turned stormy! We have had to move the picnic bench in our tent to protect us from the storm! We have stormy rice today for tipping and pouring and a variety of different puzzles to enjoy!🌫️⛈️☔️

Today we planted our own sunflowers and we played in the rain with playgroups new waterproofs! It was so much fun!🌻☔️

This week is all about weather and seasons! So today is all about the sun and summer! We have our own little campsite where we can cook our own dinner and chat around the camp fire, we have our sunshine filled tuff where we can tip and pour our yellow rice!
And we have pink playdough to represent ice cream with lolly sticks and sprinkles!!

🏡 This week at Playschool we have been learning about where we live! We talked about our homes, who we live with, and even looked at our house numbers. The children enjoyed creating pictures of their own houses, as well as exploring tipping and pouring activities and using their imaginations with knights and castles. 🏰

We have also been having lots of fun with our new educational toys and building bricks to support our learning and development. 🧩🧱

It’s Friday!! We were building castles yesterday using our new bricks so today we have our real castle to enjoy and use our imagination!! We have added tyres to our building area, what will we make today!

Today we are going to build all different kinds of houses out of our new bricks, we have tools and our high viz vests to help us!
We have sensory trays with rice, wooden bricks and wooden people to encourage our imaginary play! So much fun!

This week we will be learning and talking about where we live, who we live with, our house numbers and more! We have Duplo to build and create lots of different houses, our little home corner with babies and pushchairs to encourage imaginary play and our fabulous new educational toys that we love to play with everyday!🏡🏠
