For years we have always made paper chains to put up at Christmas but I’ve always said I would to make some fabric ones that we can store and keep for years to come! So I have spent a lot of free time and with help from my husband (attaching poppers) this is my world outside of full time work and having two kids!!

Another busy week with a small zip and lining repair on a vintage dress, and then what started as a small taking up of a maxi dress and client decided she would actually like the dress just above the knee! Very never racking to cut off so much fabric but it worked out well and the client is so happy with how it turned out

The dress is finally finished and delivered to the client it fits well so we’re all happy and the little girl will look so beautiful on her holy communion day!! I’m so proud of how it turned out, relieved it worked well and feel like I can breathe now!!

The bodice of the holy communion dress is coming along wonderfully, it’s is created from a family heirloom and is fully lined to preserve the fabric, the skirt is cut from a contrasting fabric and is awaiting assembly. I can’t wait to show you all the finished product x

I Have recently been working on a trial run dress to check sizing and style for a very important dress for a holy communion! The finished dress is going to be created from parts of her grandmothers wedding dress and a contrasting fabric to complete the look!

My daughters favourite Xmas dress no longer fitted, so I decided to separate the parts, hem them, elastic the skirt and add ribbon embellishments, to up date it so she has a new outfit now!
