Overhead safety training this August 🪜

Our combined SA001 + TETRA Safety Overhead course is running on Wednesday 12 August, giving delegates the knowledge and practical skills needed to work safely on ladders and wooden poles within the telecommunications industry.

The three-day course covers pole checking, joint-user poles, hazard identification, overhead safety and the safe use of TETRA equipment while working at height.

A standalone SA001 course is also available on the same day, with further Overhead Safety dates running throughout August.

Falls from height remain the leading cause of fatal injury at work 🚨

The HSE’s latest provisional figures show that 126 workers lost their lives in work-related incidents across Great Britain during 2025/26. Falls from height accounted for 31 of these fatalities, more than any other single cause.

Canning & Coyle Training Centre is looking for an experienced Trainer/Assessor who can deliver training across NPORS, IPAF and Confined-Space qualifications.

We are interested in applicants accredited in the following:
🔶 NPORS – N202, N204, N214, N402 and N403
🔶 IPAF – 1B, 3A and 3B
🔶 Low and Medium Risk Confined Spaces – City & Guilds and CABWI

Any additional training or assessing accreditations would be a strong advantage.
