Teddy Bear Picnic Day 🧸🍓🧺

Earlier this month, our toddlers enjoyed a very special Teddy Bear Picnic, bringing along their favourite teddies for a morning filled with fun, learning and lots of smiles! 💛

The children helped our big, friendly bear enjoy his picnic, talking about the different foods he was eating and sharing their own favourites too 🙌

They then practised knife safety as they carefully cut their own fruit for snack, building their fine motor skills, confidence and independence along the way.

And, of course, a few little taste tests were needed to make sure everything was just right for their bears! 🥰

To finish, the toddlers sat down with their teddy friends to enjoy their snack and milk together.

A lovely day of learning, independence, sharing and making special memories, made even more special with their favourite bears by their side ❤️

🌿 A little mess can mean a LOT of learning…

Paint, mud, water, messy hands and big, curious minds! 🙌

What might look like a little bit of chaos to us is actually a whole lot of learning for little ones… giving them the freedom to explore, experiment, create and discover 💫

Because every squish, scoop, splash and splodge is helping little ones learn, grow and make sense of the world around them 🎨

🐍🦎✨ Things got a little wild at Preschool this week!

We had a very special visit from Tom’s Talking Reptiles, giving the children the chance to get up close and hands-on with some truly fascinating creatures 🙌

From snakes and lizards to tortoises and more, the children could look, touch, hold and ask questions as they discovered more about these amazing animals! 🐢

It was such a wonderful opportunity to encourage curiosity, confidence and a respect for the natural world… learning through a real-life experience that the children will remember for a long time 🌿

These very proud little explorers could not believe that they were holding a real life snake, they were just so excited 🥰

A huge thank you to Tom for such a fun, educational and memorable visit! 💚 Tom's Talking Reptiles
