❤️ Sharing the love this Valentine’s Day ❤️
Today we’re celebrating the heart of our nursery… our incredible team and wonderful families.
Each team member arrived to a little surprise yesterday - a gift bag with a handwritten note, just for them. Sixty bags, sixty messages, each one written with genuine thanks and appreciation. Because every single person makes a difference...every, single, day.
I mustn't take all the credit for packing the goodie bags - I was ably assisted by the original Bear & Bunny! Our children love being involved with the nursery still, - it isn't just about their middle names!!
As we continue to grow it is essential that family remains at the heart of everything we do.
To our team - thank you for the smiles, the cuddles, the patience, the creativity, and the love you pour into the children in our care. We truly couldn’t do this without you. You are, what makes our nursery such a special place.
And to our families - thank you for trusting us with your most precious little ones, and for being part of our wonderful community. Your support means the world to us.
We believe in celebrating our people, investing in our team, and making sure everyone feels valued and appreciated - not just today, but all year round.

🌍🐾 Exploring Animals Around the World This Week! 🐾🌍

This week our little learners became animal rescuers, explorers, and researchers all in one!

We began by carefully rescuing frozen animals from the ice, using our hands and tools to help set them free — there was lots of excitement and teamwork.

Once the animals were safe, we moved to the laptop where, with support, the children typed letters to search for each animal, developing their early ICT and literacy skills.

We then listened to the sounds each animal makes and discovered where in the world they live. The children loved matching the noises and learning fun facts about their habitats!

To finish, we placed each animal on our world map, exploring different countries and continents before choosing another animal to investigate.

Such a wonderful week full of curiosity, discovery, and hands-on learning. We are so proud of how engaged and enthusiastic everyone has been! 💚

Today, we celebrate Scotland’s patron saint and all the beauty, culture, and heritage this incredible country has to offer. From the breathtaking Highlands to the rich traditions of tartan, bagpipes, and ceilidhs, there’s so much to love about Scotland!

Let’s enjoy some delicious haggis and share the spirit of St. Andrew’s Day with friends and family. 💙

🌈 Today, we celebrate International Children’s Day, a special day dedicated to the happiness, health, and rights of children around the world. It’s a reminder of the importance of nurturing and supporting every child as they learn, grow, and discover their unique potential. Here’s to our little ones and a bright future ahead!

🌺 Remembrance Day 🌺
Our children and staff visited in two small groups to lay a wreath in honour of our brave soldiers. The children listened carefully, followed safety instructions and took part beautifully.

We talked about why we remember this day to thank the soldiers who risked their lives to keep us safe and to show our gratitude for their service.

💛 World Kindness Day celebrates the power of compassion. We’re sharing extra kindness in nursery today, hoping it inspires us all to make the world a little brighter!
