Hi All,

As I’m sure you’re all aware, there is a red alert warning for heat on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

Our sessions will still be going ahead as it’s much cooler in the forest and there is plenty of shade. We will also have some ice activities to keep the kiddies cool and the water butt has been filled up for lots of water play!
However, we will be unable to have the campfire. Whilst I’m confident of the safety measures we have in place, it would be irresponsible for us to light it due to health and environmental risks.

We will still have the usual snacks and drinks on offer, with plenty of water and as an extra, I have also bought fruit ice lollies (we might have to eat them early in case they start melting!)! We just won’t be able to toast the pastries and marshmallows.

I’m fully aware that the campfire is the highlight of the session for most of our visitors. I also completely understand how tricky it can be keeping babies and toddlers cool in a heatwave.
With this in mind, you are welcome to cancel your tickets and receive a full refund. OR, where there’s availability, I can transfer your tickets to another session - I can only do this if the session has space, so please let me know as soon as possible. Transfers will be done on a first come, first served basis.

If I don’t hear from you, I’ll assume you’re happy to come along as normal! 😃

Wednesday 13th 10-11.30am.

£7 per person, which includes all the forest activities, hot drinks and yummy snacks to toast on the campfire!

Week commencing the 25th May is half term. We are closed that week.

Please read if you’re booked on to tomorrow’s session (Monday 27th April)…

There may be some disruption when travelling along Brickhouse Hill (A327). This is the road our site is on.
A car hit a pylon on Friday and the damage has resulted in ongoing repairs and “Road Closed” signs.
We understand this has not affected access to us, but this may change if more work is carried out in the morning.

Gemma has sent emails to everyone booked on to explain this. She will check the latest situation in the morning and update you if there are any changes.

Please keep an eye on your emails and texts for an update in the morning.
