Cookie Kids A SKILL FOR LIFE! Cookery workshops for children aged 6 - 16

To educate children in a fun way to learn how to cook and make healthy choices.

Regrettably I cannot guarantee allergy free products. After school and holiday workshops focusing on cooking skills and enabling children to learn about nutrition, where food comes from and making healthy eating choices. ABOUT ME

I believe children should learn to cook at an early age and learn skills that will help them to cook well and make healthy eating choices throughout their lives. With so

much fast food and pre-packed meals available, many children are growing up without the key skills. I am passionate about teaching children the proper way to cook a variety of foods from cakes and biscuits to pastry and pasta dishes, always thinking about the healthy options. I have been a teaching assistant for 15 years and have in the past run a Celebration Cake business. I was trained by Eddie Spence MBE, who has made cakes for the Royal Family including The Queen's Golden Wedding Anniversary Cake. I am DBS checked and I have the relevant Food and Hygiene Certificate.
