We had the wonderful opportunity to enter the local village Sherfield on Loddon Show again this year and our children and staff rose to the challenge to enter as many categories as we possibly could, from home grown produce from our garden, taking photos of our animals in the paddocks, to arts and crafts and junk model robots and treasure chests.

We are very pleased to announce that we gained numerous first, second and third prizes and are incredibly proud of all the children's amazing achievements. Thank you to the Sherfield Show for supporting us to take part and making us feel so very welcome in our local community. 🏆🍅🥒🫑

THE MANE EVENT UPDATE

We are so excited to see Chester's progress in carriage driving
Last year, we ran a fundraiser, The Mane Event, and so many generous people donated to help us bring carriage rides back to The Loddon School.
The waiting list was quite long, but Chester is now at his "boarding school" and working hard to get ready to offer this experience to our students.
Thank you again to those who supported the fundraiser! It won't be long now, before we can share our first drives on the carriage!

We would like to give a huge thanks to Basingstoke Loddon Rotary Club and Centerprise International, who once again, worked incredibly hard for the day and have helped to create a wonderful new play area for our young people. We wanted an area in which our students could take part in a variety of different sensory activities, in a safe outdoor environment, and we think the team of volunteers did fantastic job in achieving that!

We are delighted to introduce you to Sam Attridge our new Director of Loddon Training. Sam began her career at Loddon and was formerly a PROACT-SCIPr-UK® instructor, and in the last decade has held senior strategic roles in learning and development which will support her return to us.
