Dear Parents and Carers,
We're excited to share that the Honiton Primary School PTFA has launched a crowdfunding campaign to transform our school library into a vibrant, welcoming space that will inspire a lifelong love of reading for every child. The project aims to create a modern library with new books, comfortable reading areas, improved shelving and displays, and a space where children are excited to read, learn and imagine.
Every child deserves a place where stories come alive, and with your support, we can make that happen.

We had our final pancake club of the year, celebrating the work and effort of children across the school for the last two terms in the summer. Well done for all of your hard work! We can’t wait to see who will be joining in the new school year!

Last Wednesday, the HPS World Ready Council had a fantastic time in London!

We started our day by going on a River Thames boat cruise where we saw so many of London’s famous landmarks such as Tower Bridge, The London Eye, St Paul’s Cathedral to name just a few! After lunch, we had the chance to go inside the Houses of Parliament for a tour and workshop. We even got to see a live debate happening in the House of Commons!

Year 2 had a fantastic day at Paignton Zoo. We toured the zoo looking at a variety of animals and their habitats. We also did a rainforest workshop learning about the different parts of a rainforest and objects we would find there.
