During Roman Day this week, Year 3 made their own mosaics, based on Roman mosaic borders to inspire their own designs!

5GW/GA tried to relax in the heat with some watercolour painting today.
Have a look at some of the fantastic ‘expressionism’ self portraits.

🌟 Year 5 take all the podiums in the Maths Challenge 🌟

Yesterday, HCC hosted a Maths Challenge Event for local primary schools.

Littletown had 3 teams compete and the children did an amazing job... problem solving, gameshow style questions and code-breaking.

Our fantastic children worked hard together in their teams and won 1st 2nd and 3rd places overall! 🏆

We are so proud of the children, their commitment and work ethic. We await our engraved shield! Thank you to Mrs Sweet and Mrs Small for taking the children.

Today, our year 2 ‘Dartmoor 3 Ball’ team played in an HLC event and they were amazing! The children were the youngest team at the event, but you would never have known from their performance. They came 4th overall! A great effort- well done everyone and thank you to Mrs Gibson for training and taking the children 🌟

6CB Day 2…….. and the rain continues but not a single complaint from the children. Absolutely threw themselves into everything…..even some very small spaces. Climbing, bouldering and weaselling…all things granite. What a day! What an amazing bunch of children! Fingers crossed that we’ve tired them out. 🤞WARNING TO PARENTS….get your washing machines ready.

6CB Day one: Conquered! ⛰️lots of walking, non-stop laughter and a soggy but brilliant evening hike up the tor. The children have absolutely blown us away with their resilience and how they’ve supported each other. Good food, high spirits, and we couldn't be more proud of their achievements. 6RBGA have had a fantastic second day at Pixies Holt! After a delicious fry-up to start the morning, the children enjoyed an amazing day on Hound Tor, taking part in weaseling and rock climbing challenges. They finished the day by relaxing together and enjoying their final evening with a movie night.

We are incredibly proud of their superb behaviour throughout the trip – they have been a credit to themselves and Littletown.

Everyone is looking forward to seeing their families tomorrow! 😊

6RBGA have had a fantastic first day on residential at Pixies Holt! 😊

The children threw themselves into team-building games, enjoyed some scrummy food, and rounded off the day with a night walk full of adventure and excitement to Yar Tor.

Everyone is having a great time and making wonderful memories. Now, fingers crossed for a quiet night’s sleep before another fun-filled day tomorrow! 🌟

What a fantastic day celebrating the end of Year 6 SATs at Crealy! ☀️ Perfect weather, wonderful children, and fun had by all! A huge thank you to our amazing PTFA for funding the coach and helping make such special memories possible! 🎉
