Not every marriage would survive sled pushes, burpees and race-day nerves 😂

Thanks to all the amazing staff, coaches and volunteers for having me at the Sim 🤩

Proud of what we achieved together today - until next time 😜

I’m soo not into posting ‘before and afters’, especially of my clients as it’s no ones business but theirs ❤️ However, I was flicking through old photos this morning and this one on the left really grabbed my attention! I wasn’t looking or feeling my finest and in a moment it reminded me how far I’ve come. (that’s why it’s important to take the progress pics - even just for yourself)!

The photo on the left was taken around my 40th birthday not long after Emily arrived 🤗

I’d just come through a difficult pregnancy after losing a baby to a missed miscarriage at 12.5 weeks , Emily was 13 days late weighted 9 lbs 10 and life was busy as a mum of 2 little ones.

I spent my 40th birthday in the labour ward. We were a few months into COVID, had moved to a new village and were trying to get FUSTLE (family business) off the ground.

Coaching you lovely ladies had taken a back seat, and so had looking after myself. My hormones were all over the place, life felt overwhelming, and I did what most women do…

I sucked it up and got on with it.

Fast forward 6 years.

Life is still CHAOS. (My new favourite word 😜)

But now it’s the kind of chaos I choose. Family adventures, bikes, runs, lifting weights, events, making memories, back COACHING 🤩 and squeezing every bit of fun out of life because, let’s face it, none of us are getting out alive.

The biggest difference isn’t how I look.

It’s how I feel.

Over the last few years I’ve focused on my health, not aesthetics. I’ve built strength, reduced visceral fat, improved my fitness, lowered my resting heart rate, increased my VO₂ max, dialed in bedtime routine supported my hormones with a balanced diet (oh and estrogen also helps) 😉 Ive created a body that’s capable of doing all the things I love and I’m proud of.

At 46 all of those things are much more important than being ‘skinny’ !? Choose leaner, fitter and stronger and help teach this to our youngsters. Because in a world where we can buy skinny, you can’t buy your health and if we build strong bodies and fuel them well we’re in for a much better ride 💪🏻

What.A.Night! 🚴‍♀️☀️💜

It was a full family, friends and community effort on Friday night. Team Fustle and Team JB Fecking Fit Flyers set up two Fustle bikes outside their local SPAR Crawfordburn to raise funds and awareness for NIPANC ahead of this weekend’s epic Pedal the Periphery 2026.

The bikes were pedalled continuously for 3 hours in the roasting sunshine, with amazing support from locals including kids who stopped by to take a turn on the specially set-up kids’ bike. The encouragement, enthusiasm and community spirit on display were incredible.

Thanks to the generosity of the public, we raised £420 in cash and over £150 in online donations during those three hours alone — and the total is still growing!

Since 2024, more than 300 riders across 30 teams have taken on this incredible adventure, helping raise an astonishing £385,000 over three years to support NIPANC’s vital work.

This weekend our teams will be amongst hundreds of cyclists on the start line, ready to take on 480 miles in 48 hours. It’s going to be tough, it’s going to be emotional, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest Pedal the Periphery yet.

A massive thank you to everyone who has donated, pedalled, supported, shared our posts, or stopped by for a chat. Every pound raised helps make a difference.

Right then... 480 miles. Let’s do this. 💪🚴‍♀️🔥

6 x 800s on the track today. The heat was 🔥

Last 2 reps I was absolutely hanging like a hanging thing 😵‍💫

I regularly question my own sanity regards training and
fully aware some people think I’m mental but I’m ok with that . They’re probably right , funny thing is I’m not even training for anything so I just do this s**t for the Craic 😜

Getting an early strength session in this morning on Bank Holiday Monday was never in question. A few easy days and time out on the trails with my bike has been such great fun and good for the soul… but i can’t let that replace the sessions that have helped me look snd feel stronger 💪🏻 An hour this morning set me up for a chaotic day with family that included, 9 holes of golf (that I’m so s**t at btw) 🤯, bit of slip n sliding in the garden dodging the water sprinkler , bqq’ing up some chicken for dinner and mopping up the weekends fizz in the sun ☀️ 🥂 💪🚴‍♀️

Reigns fully pulled again to get this body back on track (as I sit with a cup of tea and a double decker ) 👀 🤫

None of us know whst tomorrow brings so get out and enjoy this lovely weather if you can ☀️
