Happy Pancake 🥞 Tuesday!!!
Today we are tucking into home made pancakes with Nutella, sliced banana and chocolate drizzle 😋… there is also a plain butter option that isn’t so popular 😂😂

Our kiddos really enjoyed making their lovely wind chimes and sweet filled cards this week 😍

Our busy mid term week off school was not gonna be stopped by the rain!!! We had a fun week going for drizzly walks, making slime, visiting the Titanic area and checking out the SS Nomadic (and seeing the pigeons close up!), stopping by the Dock Cafe for a treat and some colouring, making chocolate brownies, going to the park and making Valentine’s crafts (I will post pics of our crafts tomorrow, on Valentine’s Day ❤️).
A great week off considering the horrible weather we have had!! 👊🏻

My Christmas movie cinema plans for today went out the window when I was out voted in favour of a bowling session this afternoon!!! Awesome way to finish up for the Christmas break 🎅🏻 🎄 Let’s do this!!! 💪🏻

Some of our Christmas decorations we made over the last few weeks 🎄 🎅🏻

So my week off has been taken up so far with decorating the shower room upstairs… which led to a wee climb up into the attic (to see light fittings and stuff)… while up there I came across Aaron and Ethan’s big massive flexi-tub filled with LEGO from when they were wee!!! So I brought it down, chucked it in the bath, washed and disinfected it all and it’s now lying on towels to dry (well, it will be spread out to dry properly when Ellie finishes playing with it). The kids will have so much fun with this - so many different Lego sets all chucked together in one big bucket - Batman wings, wheels, boats, ladders, people, parts of police vehicles, windows, motorbikes… and loads of other stuff! Hopefully the kids will love this after the break!!

So that’s the first half term done… back into homework routines, after school snacks and chill out/playtime. The kids all went home this week with their wee Halloween bags (apart from one which will be hand delivered today!). Hope you all enjoy the Halloween break 🎃 👻 I feel the kids definitely deserve it at this stage 😃 From tomorrow we have the darker nights coming in… just on time for Halloween rhyming (or ‘trick or treating’ as the kids like to call it 😜).

And that’s a wrap for Summer 25!! We had some great times visiting places, doing fun activities and making the most of some great weather ☀️ We made lots of great memories ❤️
Back to porridge on Monday - back to the school and homework routine 🫣 but we will still have time to chill out and play too 🙃
