Dorothea Quarry update.
We’re now into double digits in our effort to remove decades of waste from this World Heritage site — from small debris to large, heavy materials.
Next phase: parking development, which brings its own challenges and groundwork.
A sincere thank you to everyone involved — from the skip drivers to those supporting the project behind the scenes. You know who you are.
Interesting fact: removing waste here averages around £500 per ton.
Proud to be doing this work as both an estate manager and mountain leader.

🌿 This year has been full of shared adventure — and in those days outdoors, I’ve seen incredible transformation.
Confidence found on cliff faces. Laughter breaking tension in the gorge. Quiet courage on mountain paths.

I’ve been through my own transformations too. Some of it is hard to put into words yet — it’s off the charts, still unfolding, still reshaping me. But that’s the nature of the wild: it changes us when we let it.

To all of my clients, friends, and fellow adventurers — thank you. 🙏 Every shared step has been part of this journey.
