One of the best part of my job is that i get to spend one to one time with the children in my care - recently on a Wednesday morning it has Bern just me and Olivia so we decided to spend a our play time making her mummy something special! Olivia's mummy has just finished her first year training as a nurse so she has been working very hard, working nights and weekends looking after lots of poorly people.
We decided to make her a pillow, Olivia went thought all the different fabric and decided which ones she's wanted to yes, she cut them with her big muscles!! 💪 she arranged them how she wanted them, she sewed them together with a little help from me, I ironed it all for her, I drew round her hands and helped her cut them out and helped her sew round them. Olivia picked the backing fabric and what she wanted to embroider in the heart and what colours she wanted it all to be and then we sewed it all together and I put the pillow pad inside. We had a great time doing it and the look of achievement on her face when it was finished was incredible!!!!!!

Due to having to go to Llangefni this morning to collect car parts for Uncle Gel's van, myself and Tegwen decided to was a nice day for a walk round the Dingel! It was nice listening to the water of the river and all of the different bird songs. We had just been talking about Tegwen’s favourite bird (Robin goch) when one came down and sat in the tree next to us!
