Milla Beeson Pilates Milla is a BASI qualified Pilates instructor. She teaches both mat and equipment classes privately and in small groups from her studio 3 miles from Holt.

Milla Beeson is a qualified Pilates teacher with Body Arts and Science International (B.A.S.I.) and offers classes to all ages and abilities. Her background is in health and sports having trained and competed in triathlons and she has a passion for movement and rehabilitation which led her to Pilates. Milla has a private Pilates studio in Lower Bodham, close to Holt on the North Norfolk Coast. She teaches both mat and equipment classes privately and in small groups. Milla believes Pilates can be for everyone irrespective of age or ability, can help rehabilitate through injury as well as create a strong and lean body.

It is such a joy to teach you and all the wonderful people I am lucky enough to share my classes with. Knowing that my classes make a positive difference to people’s lives is exactly why I love what I do.

Sometimes you just need to slow down… let go of the constant need to find the next version of yourself, to be better, workout harder, get stronger .. be better.

You need to stop making life something you have to solve, achieve or find.

Feel what is happening. Breathe in the air, look around you… and be truly grateful for all you already have.

IS PAIN YOUR BRAIN 🧠 OR DO YOU ACTUALLY FEEL IT?

Where do you feel pain first?

And before you move do you actually feel the pain first or anticipate it????

Pain is real but your brain plays a super strong role in how you experience, interpret or respond to it.

And sometimes the FEAR of pain can become just as powerful as the pain itself….

So next time you feel that familiar twinge… pause for a second and think

What am I actually feeling right now???

NOT. “Is this all in my head?”
BUT “What is my brain telling me about this sensation?”

Because changing the way you think about a movement can sometimes change the way you move.

And that might just make you move completely differently. 👀

Totally different to what I normally post.. no movement but important just the same.. I don’t just teach pilates… I am always asked lots of advice … and I am sure there are loads more important things to include but this was on my mind!!
