Hi all,
In class today I showed the students 1stclassmaths which has done some interesting statistics on the "likelihood" (not guaranteed) of some of the topics coming up. Please have a look at this link https://www.1stclassmaths.com/topic-frequencies
and look at the 3rd column (edexcel) is the exam board we are completing. The topics with the highest percentage would be my focus for the moment.
Please use https://www.mathsgenie.co.uk/gcse.html as this has videos (the teaching of the topic if you haven't a clue), exam style questions and solutions.
Use this in this format:
1. Identify on
https://www.1stclassmaths.com/topic-frequencies the topics with the highest percentage
2. go onto https://www.mathsgenie.co.uk/gcse.html and search for that topic (use the link above)
3. look at the questions
4. if you feel confident go ahead and answer the exam questions. Do the first 3 questions, mark them with the solutions provided.
5. if all three are correct and you feel confident with that topic, move onto the next topic with the highest percentage. And repeat this process or the process below (if you get them wrong).
6. If wrong, go back to the video and watch it and copy down examples and/or make revision cards. Then head back to the exam style questions and answer questions and mark them.
7. when confident, move onto the next topic with the highest percentage. And repeat the above process.
AT ANYTIME YOU NEED HELP WITH A SPECIFIC TOPIC, PLEASE EMAIL ME on [email protected]
Lastly, YOU CAN DO THIS AND WE BELIEVE IN YOU.
