We are excited to invite you to our Sports Day on Friday 10th July. The event will begin promptly at 1:00 pm, and we kindly ask
parents and carers to arrive from 12:45 pm to allow time for seating before the activities begin. If the weather is wet, we have a back up date of Friday 17th of July.

We look forward to seeing you there to cheer on the learners and celebrate their fantastic efforts. We hope you can join us for an enjoyable afternoon of fun, teamwork, and sporting achievements! Just a gentle reminder that all parents and guardians will
not be allowed to have phones on school site or take pictures of the sports day if you would like pictures please ask your child’s teacher to send them to you!

Please book before Wednesday 8th July (an email will be sent with a link to a form on Monday) so we know how many are going to attend. Unfortunately, there is a maximum of two adults per learner. Children are not included in this.

Booking is essential for fire regulations and safeguarding purposes and photo ID will be required when signing in.

Please see some information posters sent from our Immunisations Team regarding vaccinations they offer in school.
Our next visit rom the team will be in September 2026; this will be for the FLU vaccine. More information on this will be sent out to you soon. If you do have any questions regarding the vaccinations or the process on the day please don't hesitate to contact the us at school.

On National Thank a Teacher Day, we are delighted to share that we received certificates from the Pearson National Teaching Awards 2026 for SEND and Inclusive Practice, recognising the incredible efforts of our whole school staff team.

We were also honoured to receive a beautiful letter from their President, the great Sir Michael Morpurgo.

A huge thank you to our amazing staff team at Highgate Hill House School. I am so proud of each and every one of you and your unwavering dedication to our wonderful school.

As Sir Michael Morpurgo so perfectly says (and as a big fan, I couldn’t agree more):

On 19th Tuesday, Crackington Class visited the Pearl Exchange and had a fantastic time learning about all the wonderful support and opportunities it offers.
As part of their Business Studies project, the class decided to run a hot chocolate stand over two days - at lunchtime and during the Talent Show - to raise money for the Pearl Exchange. Thanks to everyone’s support, they managed to raise an amazing £100!
We are so proud of the learners for their hard work, teamwork, and generosity. Well done, Crackington Class!

"We have organised another collaboration with 2ndLyfe, The final date for donations is May 14th. All profits will be used in store to maintain the upkeep of necessary items in school such as spare clothes for learners." 2nd Lyfe

Last term, we took part in Pyjamarama and are so proud to have raised £120 for Children with Cancer UK 💛💛
The money raised will help fund vital research into new treatments and therapies, as well as provide support for children and families affected by cancer.
This cause is especially close to our hearts, as one of our own learners is currently living with cancer. She was incredibly excited to come to school in her comfy pyjamas, and her joy was shared by everyone. More importantly, she was deeply touched by the kindness and support shown by her friends and staff and felt so proud that her own family contributed extra to the fundraiser.
It was a truly special day for our whole school community. When asked what she thought, our learner was quick to respond with the biggest grin and two thumbs up! 👍😁👍
