Brockholes Pre-School

Hi everybody, just to let you know that Emma is leaving us as a permanent member of staff at the end of this term to spend more time developing her family business. You may still see her occasionally in pre-school as she will be acting as cover staff should we need her to cover staff absences. I am sure you will also see her at school or pre-school events. We wish Emma all the best for the future and we will miss her very much as she has been part of the team for over 15 years.

Tonight is Graduation evening, for the children ready to start school in September.
We hope all the families can make it and watch their child graduate from preschool.

Refreshments will be available and the opportunity to buy your childs graduation photo.

🐛The very hungry Caterpillar🐛

This afternoon we had a picnic outside and tasted
1 delicious apple 🍎
2 crisps pears 🍐🍐
3 tart plums 🟣🟣🟣
4 sweet strawberries 🍓🍓🍓🍓
5 juicy oranges 🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊

And maybe a piece of Caterpillar cake 🎂
with a carton of fresh orange to wash it all down with

🐛 The very hungry caterpillar 🐛

This morning the children found and placed the letters from their name onto the paper to make the Caterpillars body. They then counted out 1 face, 2 eyes and 2 antennae, before drawing the mouth, legs and even satae (the hair on the back)
These can be used for placemats or as a doorsign at home to help the children recognise their name.
