Languages Club!

No Languages Club this week, folks as the Bottle Bank is closed tomorrow evening. We’ll be meeting next week instead on Tuesday evening at 7:30, if anyone would like to come along. It would be fabulous to see anyone of any level - if you’re enthusiastic about practising your other language, you’ll be made very welcome! Just sitting with a glass of something and listening is absolutely fine, too! No charge for entry, just get yourself a drink and join us.

Languages Club at the Bottle Bank later! French and Spanish speakers (and possibly others?) will be there.

I won’t, sadly, as I’m currently in Provence with my family staying with Estelle, the person who’s responsible for my love of France and all things French. I’m not sure we would have believed 35 years ago that we’d still be like sisters now. 🇫🇷 🌻

Calling Italian 🇮🇹 and Welsh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 speakers…

Languages Club is on again at the Bottle Bank at 7:30 tonight.

We had lovely groups of people practising their French, Spanish and German last month, but we also had Italian and Welsh speakers with nobody to practise with.

Whatever your second / third language, whatever your level (just coming along and listening is absolutely fine), you are all very welcome.

It’s Languages Club week at the Bottle Bank this Tuesday.

7:30 - 9pm. Come for all or some of it and meet others of us struggling in our second / third languages! 🤣

No judgement, only mutual support amongst a lovely bunch of people.

All levels absolutely welcome. If you’d like to just come and listen to others, please do!

One space has become available on my Intermediate 'Le Café Français' course starting this Friday at The Beer Emporium Bottle Bank, 10:30 - 12noon.

The course lasts for 6 weeks and includes a delicious coffee and hot croissant every Friday session, and costs £125.

You'd be joining a fabulous group of very friendly, supportive and fun people!

I’ve had a fabulous week with the family in Norfolk and time to reflect on a great first two terms as a tutor.

⭐️ 11 one-to-one Maths / English students
🇫🇷 18 French students
🎵 4 Piano students

I’ve also squeezed in a trip to France with the Year 6s from my old school, helped to set up a Languages club in Holmes Chapel and play the piano regularly for the local Memory Café which supports people with dementia.

Life is good. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings. 🥰
