We are seeking a passionate, experienced and motivated Nursery Lead to join our Early Years team. Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a solid understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.

As Nursery Lead, you will develop strong partnerships with all of our families within the nursery whilst leading a small team of exceptionally dedicated colleagues. You will lead and support the delivery of high-quality childcare and early years education.

As we look back at Speech Day and the end of another excellent academic year, we celebrate a year filled with achievement, friendship and personal growth.

From our youngest pupils to our Year 8 leavers, it has been a joy to see our pupils flourish and make lasting memories along the way.

It was a pleasure to welcome Alexander Dragonetti – former British Diplomat, Mencap Ambassador, and the People's Champion from BBC's The Traitors (2025) – back to Terra Nova on the final day of term.

Returning as our guest speaker and an Old Terra Novian, Alexander delivered an inspiring address to pupils and parents, sharing reflections on his journey and the values that have guided him throughout his career.

He also generously took the time to meet with our Year 8 pupils for a special interview, answering their questions about his time at Terra Nova and sharing some of his favourite memories of the School.

Terra Nova Preparatory School is looking to recruit SEND Teaching Assistants to join our wonderful team. The right candidate will have knowledge and experience of working with children with SEND and have a positive and enthusiastic approach.

The role will include providing 1:1 support, working in collaboration with the
teaching team to ensure delivery of provision within the EHCP and to achieve the
outcomes outlined. To support and promote the development of independent
learning skills and enable our wonderful pupils to flourish through inspiring
teaching, enriching opportunities and a culture that celebrates individuality.

As another wonderful academic year came to a close, we celebrated our Year 8 pupils at this year's Speech Day – a truly memorable occasion filled with gratitude and more than a few happy tears.

Listening to our leavers speak so warmly about their time at Terra Nova was a powerful reminder of the friendships they've built, and the memories they'll carry with them into the next stage of their journey. Beautiful solo and ensemble musical performances made the day even more special.

Speech Day was a celebration of far more than achievements; it was a celebration of the warmth, kindness and sense of belonging that make Terra Nova feel like family.

To our Year 8 leavers: thank you for everything you have brought to our community. We wish you every happiness and success as you begin your next adventure – you will always be part of the Terra Nova family.
