We’re excited to welcome you to the launch of Little Oaks Nursery at RHS!

Wednesday 16 September 4:00 - 6:00pm.

Welcoming children aged 3 months to 4 years, Little Oaks will provide a nurturing environment where children can learn, play, explore and grow. Featuring newly renovated spaces, the nursery has been thoughtfully created to support children's development in a safe, engaging and inspiring setting.

The nursery will be open 51 weeks a year from 8am–6pm, offering high-quality childcare for local families.

Josie has achieved an outstanding set of GCSE results: 9,9,9,8,8,8,8,7,7 in Design Technology, English Literature, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Maths and Spanish.

Having joined RHS in Year 7, Josie has embraced a wide range of opportunities throughout her time at the school. She has represented RHS in the 1st Team Hockey and has particularly enjoyed sailing, Chapel Choir, hockey and CCF.

Josie is now looking forward to continuing her journey at RHS Sixth Form, where she plans to study A Level Biology, Geography and Design Technology. She is also excited to begin Sixth Form as a Sports Scholar and rejoin Chapel Choir.

Looking further ahead, Josie hopes to achieve strong A Level results and go on to study Biology at university.

Reflecting on her time at RHS, Josie says: "RHS has given me the opportunity to not only succeed in academics but also in sports and co-curricular activities. I have loved being part of CCF and 1st Team Hockey, giving me a chance to get outdoors."

Congratulations, Josie, on your fantastic achievements. We wish you every success as you continue into Sixth Form and look forward to seeing all that you accomplish in the years ahead.

Danae has achieved a fantastic set of GCSE results, including a Grade 9 in Spanish, a Grade 8 in EAL, Grade 7 in Maths and Grades 9 and 8 in Science.

Danae joined RHS in Year 11 as part of the one-year International GCSE programme. During her time at the school, she has made the most of every opportunity, developing her confidence, leadership and social skills. She particularly enjoyed being part of the RHS basketball team and valued the supportive approach to learning, especially in her Science lessons.

Danae will now return to her former school in Spain to continue her education. Looking further ahead, she hopes to pursue her interest in Psychology, with the ambition of helping and understanding others.

Reflecting on her time at RHS, Danae says: "At RHS, my social skills have improved a lot; my teachers have helped me as well, and thanks to that, I’ve achieved the results I wanted."

Congratulations, Danae, on your fantastic achievements. We wish you every success as you return to Spain and begin the next chapter of your education.

Sophie has achieved an excellent set of GCSE results, including Grade 7s in Art, English Language, Maths, Music and Combined Science, alongside Grade 6s in English Literature and Media Studies. She also achieved a Grade 5 in French.

Having joined RHS in Year 7, Sophie has embraced a wide range of opportunities throughout her time at the school. She has been awarded an Art Scholarship for Sixth Form and is a member of both the Chapel Choir and Guard. Sophie also takes part in CCF each week and enjoys playing the piano and drums, with weekly lessons at school. She is currently working towards completing her Silver Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

Sophie is now looking forward to continuing her journey at RHS Sixth Form, where she plans to study Psychology, English Language and Art. Looking further ahead, she hopes to attend university and pursue a career as an Occupational or Art Therapist, with the aim of working with children.

Reflecting on her time at RHS, Sophie says: "I have enjoyed my time at RHS so far with all the incredible opportunities that I have been offered, and all the amazing friends I have made; it’s made me who I am. And I’m really excited to be starting the Sixth Form in September!"

Jerry has achieved an excellent set of GCSE results across Maths, English Literature and Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Spanish, Physical Education and Philosophy, Religion and Ethics.

Having joined RHS in Year 7, Jerry has embraced a wide range of opportunities throughout his time at the school. He has served as Deputy Head of St Vincent House, been appointed as a Peer Mentor and represented the School Council since Year 7. He has also represented RHS in the 2nd XV Rugby team, taken on the role of Drum Major in the Marching Band and helped his House achieve success in House Harmony.

Jerry has particularly enjoyed rugby and the many musical opportunities available at RHS. He has also valued spending time in the library and has developed interests in areas including Medicine and Law.

Looking ahead, Jerry plans to study Biology, Chemistry and Spanish. He is also looking forward to gaining work experience with The World Bank Group and becoming more involved in the real world beyond the classroom.

Reflecting on his time at RHS, Jerry says: "The five years at RHS so far has led me to say that the school didn't give me all the answers I wanted, but just enough questions to make me stay for two more."
