Fun, Educational Visits for Primary School Children and Teachers of any age! For childrens birthdays we'll be offering proper parties like they used to be.

In June 2013 we are opening a Rural Outdoor Education Centre 'Bring Yer Wellies' at Ricroft Nurseries which is a natural setting for a primary experience of hands on engagement with nature. We will be offering a diverse range of learning experiences and bespoke packages compiled to meet the individual school and national curriculum requirements. School visits are private, exclusive, educational &

fun in a stimulating environment. We listen to your thoughts and ideas and produce a specific package in order that we can shares our wealth of knowledge with pupils and adults alike. Our time is spent organising and packing in as many activities as possible during the time that you are with us, whether you choose to be flower fairies, pirates, wizards or cowboys and indians! It promises to be fun and educational!

Would your class benefit from a busy Outdoor Education Day with us? Your children will go home happy, tired (in a good way!) and proud of themselves. HOWEVER....the only availability we have left between now and July is 27th February and 12th March if you're interested in coming! Feel free to message me for info about all our themes.

What a Whopping GREAT ‘Great Fire of London’ to finish off our winter season, we felt much warmer after watching the flames burn the children’s houses down, most of which were bigger than the children 😁.

We've got availability from 21st January to 21st February 2026 for our Archaeological Dig Experiences, perfect for schools looking to bring history to life in the most hands-on way possible. Each of your children will be unearthing real & replica artefacts, analysing their excavation techniques and recording their findings.....and that's all before lunchtime!.......... so come & do some fun 'archaeologicalling' 😁 with us in the new year !!!

School trip availability for 2026 is disappearing faster than a biscuit in the staff room!! If you want your class to enjoy a hands-on, memory making, inspiring day with us next year then don't faff about! We've only 4 dates left in April, 6 left for May, 3 left for June & 6 left for July. Planting & Lifecycles is always our most popular theme when the children learn all about Mother Nature & each plant a herb to take home & look after.

😂Just 4 months to go and the children will be sat here eating toasted marshmallows and sweating!!!! 😂. If you’re not booked in for the summer term yet, there’s only 8 dates available in June and 7 in July to choose from 🫨😱 so don’t dilly dally!

Get the dressing up box out!! We've got hard hats, high viz and lots of artefacts that need digging up! We're just 10 minutes from J31 on the M6 or 5 minutes from J3 on the M65 in Hoghton, Preston, Lancs and we'll provide you with a class trip bespoke to you and the facility is exclusively yours for the day!
