Wow… another academic year complete.
So many achievements, so many memories, and so many moments that remind us what makes RBA a special place.
We are more than just a school. We are a community. We are a family.
Every year we grow, we learn, and we keep rising together. Behind every success is the hard work, determination and care of our students, staff and families.
Today we celebrate all that has been achieved, we say a heartfelt thank you and farewell to those leaving us, and we welcome new members of the RBA family who will help carry our journey forward.
To our students, staff and families — thank you for making this year so special.

Today, we all embarked on LEAD Day 3. LEAD Days are all about developing the skills that matter beyond the classroom—leadership, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, resilience, and confidence. Through a range of exciting activities and challenges, students had the opportunity to work with others, try something new, and build skills that will benefit them for years to come.
Remember: Every new challenge is an opportunity to discover a new strength.

Today we were delighted to welcome our new Year 6 students for their very first day at Robert Barclay Academy.
It was fantastic to see them already beginning to settle in, meet new friends, and experience life as part of our school community. This is the start of an exciting journey, and we are proud to be supporting them as they take their first steps into secondary school.
At RBA, we believe in ambition, belonging and opportunity — and today marks the beginning of that journey for our new students. Welcome to the RBA family: where hard work is celebrated, confidence is built, and dreams are encouraged to grow.
We are very much looking forward to seeing them thrive in the years ahead.

Today we were proud to host the Trust Debating Competition, bringing together students from across our Trust schools for a powerful showcase of speaking, listening and critical thinking.
Students tackled important contemporary issues with confidence, respect and intellectual curiosity, demonstrating the real value of debate in developing thoughtful and articulate young people.
We are incredibly proud of all participants and grateful to staff across the Trust for their support in making the event such a success.

We're thrilled to announce that Alfie Watts, winner of Race Across the World, will be visiting Robert Barclay Academy to speak with our students next Monday 13th July!
Fresh from his incredible TukTuk Challenge, Alfie will share his experiences of adventure, determination and personal growth, while exploring the importance of mental health, resilience and wellbeing.
This promises to be an inspiring session, giving students the chance to hear first-hand how challenges can help build confidence, develop resilience and support positive mental health.
We can't wait to welcome Alfie to Robert Barclay Academy for what is sure to be a memorable and motivating event.
