Sessions here won't begin properly until next week as the first few days should be all about settling in to new routines, re-engaging friendships and adjusting to any new challenges.

At Wise Owls, games are part of every session.
We do this for the following reasons....

1. Games are a great way to engage students and can help them retain information. They are great for strengthening memory.
2. Games can help students apply their knowledge in a non-threatening way.
3. They can help students to build social and emotional skills such as turn-taking and listening.
4. Games allow students to experiment with problem solving skills and work out solutions.
5. They are a great way to assess learning in a fun way.

But most of all we play games because learning should be fun!
