What we’ve been up to this week…

🌈the children enjoyed choosing and reading books of their choice

🌈we had some wonderful time outdoors this week. The children ran together and kicked the ball to eachother. They all enjoyed using the swing equipment and we practiced how to make the swings move on our own 👏 the children enjoyed exploring the mud kitchen too 🥰

🌈we had lots of fun with the car track!! The children chose the cars from the box and we raced them! We picked out the winner each time 🚗

🌈lastly we done some shape work using our egg box. We spoke about which each shape was called the then matched them up - fab work!

Thank you all for a fantastic week as always! Term time children, have the best summer holidays and we look forward to seeing you again in September ❤️

This weeks fun…

🌈the children enjoyed choosing and reading their favourite books together this week 📚 this is always so lovely to see 😍

🌈we matched all of our paw patrol dogs up with their correct vehicles and raced them along the floor to see who was the fastest!!

🌈the children thoroughly enjoyed playing shops together this week. We took turns being the cashier and the customers - amazing role playing together, well done ❤️

🌈the children chose to do some colour matching and we counted how many shapes we had of the same colour 👏

🌈we had some wonderful artwork created by the little ones! They asked for paper and crayons, and away they went 😍😍

🌈lastly we got all of our happyland equipment out and the children enjoyed lots of role play with this 🥰🥰

A quieter week but we still had lots of fun 🥰

🌈the children enjoyed matching our toy eggs and putting them into the correct shape sections in the box. We spoke about the name of each shape and the colour of each egg - amazing work!

🌈we had lots and lots of fun with playdough this week! The children loved rolling out the playdough and creating animals and shapes using the cutters!

🌈the children loved exploring the mud kitchen outdoors - they enjoyed pouring water into sections of the tray and ‘cooking’ it in the oven!

🌈lastly we enjoyed making our own summer pictures using our stickers ☀️

This weeks activities…

🌈the children chose to explore all of our figures this week, they made up their own games together which was wonderful to see!

🌈we then made towers which the children love to do!!

🌈we spent some time outdoors this week. The children enjoyed making lots of different things in the mud kitchen and playing some football ⚽️

🌈the children helped to clean our slide and then enjoyed taking it in turns to use it 👏

🌈we practiced our pencil control for the older children which they done amazing at - keep it up! Then the children coloured their favourite Disney character pictures!

🌈lastly we enjoyed some games of Gooey Louie - the children found this game hilarious! We had great fun! One of our little ones decided to also dress as a tiger/Harry Potter character 🤣❤️

This weeks fun…it’s been a hot one!! ☀️🥵

🌈the children enjoyed playing with the monster truck track and then we done lots of building and creations using our duplo!

🌈we had some wonderful kitchen role play..we made lots of tea and gave it out to everyone ❤️

🌈the children created lovely seaside pictures this week by using their sticking skills and placing the pictures onto their seaside sheets 😍

🌈one of our little ones helped herself to her favourite books and chilled out in our quiet room, enjoying them 📖 🥰

🌈we done lots and lots of water play this week 💦 it was greatly enjoyed and welcoming after the heat we’ve had!!! The children decided to take the paw patrol dogs for a wash and they worked as a team to do this - well done everyone 👏

🌈lastly this week the children built their own creations using our k’nex equipment!

Some of this weeks fun…

🌈the children enjoyed some water play this week!! They explored pouring and scooping, as well as washing the barbies hair and collecting all of the sea creatures!!

🌈we created some wonderful Fathers Day artwork this week, ready for Sunday 💙

🌈we have all been enjoying the wonderful weather this week and we ate our snack on the bench and then we had a picnic lunch under the shade ☀️ ❤️

Our second half term week of fun (last week)

🌈the children enjoyed exploring the aqua mat last week using all of the different equipment!

🌈we done car races on the garage and the children called out which colour car won the race 👏

🌈we took two trips to the park on different days last week - we had lots of fun 😍😍

🌈we enjoyed playing a few games of twister and the ‘found it’ game which went down a hit!!

🌈the children created whatever they wanted using all of our craft resources! We had some amazing creations - fab work!!!

Half term fun!!

🌈the children started off the week with collecting items around the setting and putting them into colour groups!! We had a little race to see who could find the most! Amazing work 👏

🌈we went on a woodland walk and played football on the field! We were even lucky enough to spot some horses 🐴

🌈the children done some wonderful role play with the dolls and barbies ❤️

🌈we drew around eachother hands and then coloured in our nails which we had drawn 💅

🌈the children enjoyed exploring the mud kitchen. They collected mud and made all sorts of things 😍

🌈we took another outing to the park this week and visited the duck pond. We saw a Mummy and Daddy duck and a baby duckling 🥰 🦆

🌈the children practiced walking together along the pavement and holding hands - amazing 😍

This week…

🌈 the children enjoyed building together 😍 they were able to call out the colours of the blocks that they were using 🥰

🌈we created some lovely artwork this week. The children used stickers to decorate a butterfly picture 🦋

🌈we practiced more of our pencil control - amazing work 👏

🌈the children built train tracks together - great team work and they enjoyed testing them all out using the different trains 🚂

🌈we done some dancing together which was lovely 😍

🌈the children enjoyed the sunshine this week!! We played football, done some running races, and then digging in the mud area! The children enjoyed making mud pies in the kitchen too 🤎

🌈we created some flower artwork! Wonderful sticking and putting the pieces onto the paper to create the flower - fab work!!

🌈the children chose books of their choice and all sat together for reading time ❤️

🌈lastly this week the older children enjoyed a football matching game which they thoroughly enjoyed! As it was a brand new game, they done amazing working as a team to learn how the game was to be played!

This weeks activities!

🌈we had some wonderful role play this week. We looked after the baby in the dolls house and then made everyone some tea ☕️

🌈the children decided they wanted to play with the dinosaurs when they arrived. We got all of our dinosaurs out and created some fun games 🦕 🦖

🌈we spoke about our feelings this week and then completed some activities. We also read our feelings book. The children enjoyed this activity ❤️

🌈 the children created some artwork using stickers of their choice and then we done some colour work!! 👏

This week’s activities! A quieter one but still lots of fun!

🌈lovely role play this week with our figures and making lots of lovely food in our play kitchen this week!

🌈we played hairdressers which was thoroughly enjoyed as a bank holiday treat ❤️

🌈we completed some coronation activities! The children made some wonderful crowns and other artwork using stickers and colouring!

🌈lastly the children had a lovely time outdoors riding bikes and playing football 😍
