Hello, I have had several enquiries recently regarding bookings for tuition and thought it would be helpful to explain the current situation for coaching during lockdown.

I am able to offer currently - 1 to 1 coaching with covid safe practices in place e.g mask, wash down the equipment etc.
People looking to make a booking need to ensure they are travelling within the guidance set by the Government, as stated as local travel.

Great news, for those wanting to book a coaching session with myself or with another angling coach. The Angling Trust guidance for coaching angling have relaxed the ruling on sharing of equipment. This means I can now offer coaching for those without their own kit. However, please read the below information so you are clear when making the booking that certain things still need to be in place.

* Handwashing and anti-bacterial gels or wipes should be
provided and have the appropriate strength as set out by the
government. I will have these on site.
* No food should be taken into, or consumed, in the coaching
area. Personal drinks bottles allowed, but handwashing
procedure, before consumption, must be adhered to.
* Social distancing of 2 metres must always be maintained ,
unless in emergency situations.
* Sharing equipment is permitted although should be kept to a
minimum. If equipment is shared to take someone fishing, you
should practice strict hand hygiene, cleaning your hands
thoroughly before and after use. Equipment should be cleaned
thoroughly in line with wider guidance on hygiene. I will do this
if the booking require this.
