It's World Cup sweepstake time at AS2Educate! π
Our students got involved in a World Cup sweepstake, bringing a bit of healthy competition and plenty of football banter to the provision.
With a voucher up for grabs for both a student and a member of staff, we're already seeing some very passionate support for teams that nobody had heard them mention before today! π
It's been a great way to bring everyone together, have some fun and get behind the tournament.
Now we're all waiting to see whose team goes all the way... and whose hopes are over before the group stages are finished! πβ½
Good luck everyone! π

πΈ A bit of healthy competition and plenty of fun!
Our latest badminton session gave students the chance to get active, challenge themselves and enjoy some friendly competition in a supportive environment πΈ
Activities like these help students build confidence, develop resilience and strengthen positive relationships, all while having a go at something different.
There was lots of encouragement, determination and a few impressive rallies along the way, with everyone getting involved and giving it their best π
It's always great to see students supporting one another, having fun and enjoying new experiences together!

The kitchen has been a busy place recently, as some of our students put their baking skills to the test and made some delicious cinnamon buns π
From measuring ingredients and following recipes to getting creative with the finishing touches, there was plenty of learning along the way.
Activities like this help build confidence, encourage independence and give students the chance to develop practical life skills in a fun and supportive environment.
And judging by how quickly they disappeared, we think it's safe to say they were a success! ππ΄

A huge well done to four of our students who have earned the top DREAM Points reward! π
Over the year, they have consistently demonstrated effort, commitment and positive choices, collecting enough DREAM Points to secure a theme park trip as their reward π’
At the end of June, we'll be heading off for a day of fun and celebration to recognise everything they have achieved along the way.
We believe it's important to celebrate progress, no matter how big or small, and we're incredibly proud of the hard work these students have put in to reach this milestone.
We can't wait for the trip! π

Recently, one of our former students popped in to say hello and take a look around our new building! π
Having attended AS2Educate when we were based in a much smaller space, he couldn't believe how much things had changed. After being shown around, he laughed and said he was "used to just one room" and was amazed to see all the different learning spaces (and even an upstairs!).
It was lovely to catch up, hear what he's been up to and reflect on how far he's come since leaving AS2Educate.
Moments like this are always special. We love staying connected with former students and seeing the positive steps they're taking after their time with us π

Recently, spending time outdoors gave students a positive start to the week and a chance to slow things down a little πΏβοΈ
During the session, one of our new students shared their goal of becoming a barrister, which led to some really positive conversations around future plans, ambitions and what theyβd like to achieve during their time at AS2Educate π―
Sometimes itβs these moments and conversations that make a real difference, helping students feel heard, build confidence and start thinking positively about their future π¬
