✨ Owl Babies! ✨🦉

Our preschool children have been exploring the much-loved story Owl Babies for our book of the month and getting creative by making their very own owls! 🎨🖌️

After listening and joining in with the story, they recalled the characters and events, supporting their language and communication skills. The children carefully chose their own sticker eyes, added their own bird features and had lots of fun bringing their owls to life. 💕🌳

We think our little owls are absolutely great 🦉💫

Our little explorers had an unforgettable visit from ZooLab, where they got to meet some amazing animals up close and learn all about their habitats, diets, and unique characteristics. There were plenty of opportunities for the children to build confidence as they safely interacted with the animals.

Hands-on experiences like these spark curiosity, encourage a love of nature, and create memories that last a lifetime. A huge thank you to Zoo Lab for delivering such an engaging and educational experience—we can't wait to welcome you back!

From Apprentice to Room Leader! 🌟

We're celebrating an incredible achievement for one of our former Modern Apprentices. Tiah, who completed her Level 3 qualification back in October, has now stepped into her new role as our Hedgehog's Room Leader.

Tiah's dedication, hard work and passion for supporting young children has been inspiring to see. From developing her skills through her apprenticeship to taking on a leadership role, she's a fantastic example of how apprenticeships can open doors to rewarding careers.

Congratulations on this well-deserved success Tiah—we're excited to see all you'll achieve in your new role! 🎉

🚧👷‍♀️ Exciting things are happening in our nursery garden! 🌿

We have a new Construction Area, where our little builders can design, build, and explore through imaginative play. With plenty of opportunities for teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity, this new space is sure to become a favourite!

There has been a lot of wonderful sensory exploration in our baby room today as our little ones enjoyed playing with messy gloop! ✨

The babies loved discovering the different textures and watching how the gloop moved through their fingers. Sensory play like this helps support early development by encouraging curiosity, building fine motor skills, and stimulating the senses—all while having lots of fun!

Messy play is always a favourite, and we think it's safe to say everyone had a fantastic time! 🫧💚

After an incredible 13 years at our nursery, Laura is increasing her hours and going to be room leader of Little Toads. Over the years, Laura has brought so much care and dedication to the children and families, creating happy memories along the way. We know she’ll make the same positive impact in her new room and continue helping children learn, grow, and thrive.

✨ Welcome to the team, Jade! ✨

We are excited to welcome Jade to the team as the new Room Leader in Owls! 🦉

Jade holds a Level 3 qualification in childcare and brings with her several years of experience in early years education. She is passionate about supporting children as they grow, learn and reach new milestones every day. 💛

One of Jade’s favourite things about working in a nursery is building strong bonds with the children and watching their confidence flourish through play and exploration.

Outside of work, Jade is a huge Disney fan and enjoys spending quality time with her family. 👨‍👩‍👦

We can’t wait to see all of Jade’s wonderful ideas brought to life within the room. 🌈
