STEM Day at The Hub! 🎈

We had a fantastic STEM Day at The Hub, with Gerard from joining us to talk to our young people about the construction industry and the exciting opportunities it offers.

After learning more about the world of construction, the young people took on a hands-on challenge: to design and build a chair using balloons! 🎈

There was plenty of creativity, teamwork, problem-solving and engineering thinking as they worked together to turn their ideas into reality. The ultimate test? Could their balloon chairs support the weight of a team member?

We’re delighted to say that the chairs were strong enough to hold a team member! 💪

A huge thank you to Gerard and Willmott Dixon for sharing their knowledge, inspiring our young people, and helping make STEM learning fun, practical and memorable.
