This week is National Gardening Week and if you're feeling green fingered then we're always looking for volunteers to join our gardening team.

Working as part of a team under our head gardener, our talented volunteers help with the upkeep, development and protection of the garden at the Hospice so that it can be enjoyed by all patients, families and visitors.

This is just one of a number of voluntary vacancies currently available at the Hospice, which also include roles at our Distribution Centre and our shops.

Luke was a pupil at Kingshott before heading off to Senior School in September 2019. If you would like to participate or can make a donation, please see the information below.

On Sunday 28 March, we are inviting you to take part in our charity event to remember junior member, Luke Hobson.

Luke lost his life on 28 March 2019, following a tragic accident at a hockey training session.

On the 2 year anniversary of his death, Blueharts will be walking or running 2 miles (or more) to raise money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA), who played such an important role in getting Luke to hospital on the night of the accident.

As well as raising valuable funds for EAAA, the event will be an opportunity for members to take time to remember Luke and reflect, whilst being together in spirit.

We are encouraging friends and members of all ages and their families to get involved - wearing Blueharts kit and sharing photographs on the way.

Please remember to adhere to social distancing rules, only exercising with your family/bubble or as pairs from different households. Hopefully you will see other Blueharts taking part on your walk – please remember not to congregate in groups.

Today we have the privilege of celebrating Mrs Anne Marsh who has been nominated for her services & support to Blueharts HC for 40+ years & without whom the Club would not have had James, Jon, Guy, Harriet, Olivia, Victoria & Scott Marsh representing the Club over 5 decades!
From making banana sandwiches for match teas most Saturdays in 70s & 80s to sitting on the new Clubhouse balcony supporting her granddaughters, she has always had Blueharts in her thoughts & still reads every match report in the Comet!
