As a parent, I’ve been really impressed with the impact that English tutoring has had on my child’s progress towards their GCSEs. Before we sought tutoring, my child was struggling with certain aspects of the course—particularly essay writing and analyzing literary texts. But after just a few sessions, we could already see a noticeable improvement.

The tutor provided a personalized approach that focused on my child's individual needs. They didn’t just teach the content; they also helped with exam techniques, which I think is key for GCSEs. The tutor made sure my child understood how to approach different types of questions, structure essays effectively, and manage time during the exam. It gave them a sense of direction and confidence they didn’t have before.

What really stood out to me was how engaging the sessions were. The tutor managed to make difficult topics interesting, and my child started looking forward to the sessions instead of dreading them. We also appreciated that they worked through past exam papers, which gave my child a good understanding of the exam format and how to score the best marks.

☀️ SUMMER OPEN DAY

Another term ends, another open day begins! A great weekend in Hitchin Market Square last weekend 🛍️

While some children wanted a break from education during the summer holidays, we were thrilled to see so many get stuck in with some of our example worksheets! That’s what we call dedication 🤩

This is actually the best time to get your children into extra tuition. Having a 6 week break can put a halt in your child’s learning, dropping their confidence for when they return in September - whether it’s tuition or homework, don’t forget to give them a few calculations this summer to keep them ticking! 🧮
