Can’t believe that this one will be sitting his first GCSE exam tomorrow. Time has flown by. Wishing both Reuben and all those sitting their GCSE and A Level exams all the very best. Remember no result or exam grade should ever define you or the life you wish to lead. It’s how you show up that counts ❤️ x

Wooohooo it’s February. Not only is it the month most associated with love and romance - hence my piccie with my hubby - but it’s is also my birthday month too! However you are showing up to February, it feels like this month has been a long time coming; but in reality its appearance has occurred in the same time frame as any month of the year! What I believe we have most likely been doing is 'wintering' and giving ourselves the opportunity to take life at a slower pace.
Naturalists use ‘wintering’ to describe the way animals survive the winter months, a time when they retreat and hibernate from the cold. We can mirror this natural way of being not only when it is cold outside, but also when life itself turns cold through crisis, trauma or grief.
Wintering gives us an opportunity to seek rest and recuperation when the clouds descend and the light fades. By wintering, rather than burning the candle at both ends, we can seek to lead a different and more slower pace to everyone and everything else. In doing so, we can prioritise ourselves and our self care with the upside of this being that everyone else in our life will benefit too.
Not long ago, Sarah and I were in conversation discussing the importance of self care and the blocks that can often get in the way when we seek to do something for ourselves. Given the opportunity we have now to 'winter' I felt drawn to share our discussion with you. Please click on the link here https://youtu.be/lJMEDfkFKYs.

What’s My Story? Back in 2012 I had a profound experience which ultimately changed the course of my professional approach to working with clients. This is my story.
During a regular massage treatment I enabled a client to access a trauma that they had buried deeply within them a long time ago. Working with them on this physical level I had helped them to unearth a powerful story that came flooding to the surface. This emotional connection had happened purely by accident. At the time I was not a talk therapist or coach and was ill-equipped with a limited skill set to respond effectively to this release of emotion. What I was unaware of was I had created a space for them to access the wisdom of their body.
Over time I began to notice that clients receiving regular treatments with me were also experiencing profound moments of wisdom and knowing, and were making changes in their lives as a result. They often remarked that coming to me for a treatment was so much more than receiving just a massage. I realised I was creating a space for people to ignite the wisdom within their bodies and that it was life changing. I was keen to support my clients on a far greater level so I went to on to train with Sarah and qualified as a coach.
In the subsequent years I began to combine my therapeutic treatments with my coaching skills and knowledge, and alongside experiencing my own breakthroughs I have connected with a whole new reality; one that has enabled me to reconnect with the understanding and knowledge that I am wise and that my body gives me all the information I require to navigate my life. Coupled with this powerful awareness and my passion for helping people to uncover their own body’s messages, I now support people to realise their extraordinary limitless potential through our unique personal development programmes, wellbeing retreats and training courses.
What’s your story?

You may have seen me posting about essential oils recently. Maybe this is something you are interested in. Or maybe not. Either way, I wanted to explain why we use oils in our Transformational Coaching work because it is not about the oils, they are a tool, it is about the information and awareness they elicit which can support you to change and transform your reality.
Take a moment to consider an experience when you have smelt a certain smell and it has straight away taken you to a specific memory. The memory might be a positive one or it might be a negative one. Either way, you are immediately working with your unconscious.
Our sense of smell is connected to memories and emotions via the limbic system in the brain. Working with our senses is an incredibly effective process which we use alongside our CLEARER Coaching and Body Wisdom Coaching Models to elevate the coaching enquiry and have powerful conversations with the unconscious.
Smell is highly emotive and by accessing our emotions at a deeper and unconscious level, we can begin a potent process of change and transformation.
If you are interested in finding out more check out my Blog ‘Wake up and smell the Essential Oils!’ (link in Bio)
Do you use essential oils in your coaching or daily practice?

“Do more of what makes you happy…” A powerful message that came through to me today as I accessed the wisdom of my body and its unconscious messages.
I’ve certainly let life swallow me up a bit over the last couple of years; lots of personal challenges as well as global ones, have meant my energy has become heavy and I’ve struggled to shift it.
This message is a reminder to me and anyone else it resonates with, of not letting things get on top of you too much. Raise your awareness of the stories, narratives and behaviors that are holding you back…but the key is then to TAKE ACTION and let go of what is not serving you. This creates a lightness and ease. In this state I know that I am more likely to step into things I love to do, rather than step away from them.
What do I love to do that makes me happy? Play music, sing and dance. Hang out with my family and friends. Laugh. Hug….and so many more things besides…
When you listen to your wisdom, what things make you happy? How could you do more of them this year?
Much love,
Rebecca x

Embrace feeling lost. It's the beginning state of doing things your way.
I have felt lost over the last few weeks. Lost and out to sea. But I am always reminded (most often after the fact 🤣) that I’m not actually lost. I’m just changing things up. So what were the signs of my feeling lost?
🌊Withdrawing (from people, from things, from work, from social media).
🌊Feeling anxious ALL the time.
🌊Feeling physical dis-ease; my chest would be tight, my throat restricted.
🌊Looking everywhere else, except myself, for the answers.
All in all it has been really uncomfortable. My remedy?
❤Talking; 1:1 or group conversations are where the magic happens. Whether it's with friends, a loved one or a professional coach, conversations enable you to open up, express and get insights from a different perspective.
❤Being ok with feeling like this. Things aren't always going to look or feel perfect and that is ok. I hate not having it all together, but who does? Reality check right there!
❤Taking time out to be with myself. A walk in nature, spending time writing down my thoughts, guided meditations and 5 minutes of breathing deeply (so so simple, but so easy to forget to do!), listening to music, dancing like no one is watching (I love doing that one!)...basically being with me.
Just writing that, I am reminded...being lost is ok because when I do all of that (and more)...the result?
✨A reset. Rather than going down someone else's path. I can come back to my own.
✨A reconnection with my vision and all that I want for my life. It's my life after all why would I want to do it someone else's way?!
✨I feel in flow and suddenly things flow my way too.
✨I feel happy.
Feel lost too? I see you. I hear you. It won't be for long though, come back to you and remember it's the start of doing things your way.

HARVEST FULL MOON
Full moon energy is all about illumination, with each full moon helping us to unravel or understand some part of ourselves with more clarity than ever before. Sometimes this means secrets come out, or an internal or external change is revealed within ourselves.
One thing’s for sure, full moons are monthly opportunities for change with heightened emotions and potent creativity. We may receive magical clues about ourselves and our energetic exchange with the world, under the reflected light of the full moon.
If you could change one thing in your life right now, what would it be?
What’s holding you back?

One of the things we practice at HWW is to surrender to the unfolding of life in balance with recognising that we are the architects of our experiences.
It’s very easy for us to get immersed into living and moving through life as though things are happening to us, when we remember that we are the creators as well as the created we can become much more active in the creation.
If you began to view your life as an adventure where the unfolding of events are always perfect to enable you to learn and grow and enjoy, whilst taking full responsibility for your actions and response to those unfolding events- how would things be different?
Throughout September we are running an A-Z of Wellbeing challenge in our Facebook Community. Each day we will be inviting our members to collaborate on working through the alphabet on a journey to enhanced wellbeing with a special prize to be won.
Join our group to find out which word we chose to kick off our challenge! www.facebook.com/groups/healthwealthwellbeingcommunity/
What would be your 'A' for wellbeing?
Much Love,
Sarah and Rebecca xx
