It was wonderful to welcome all of our students back to class this week! 🩰✨

Our dancers have returned with lots of enthusiasm, focus and hard work, and it has been lovely to see everyone getting back into their classes.

Here’s a little snap of our elves practising their show dance! 🧝‍♀️🎄✨ There’s lots happening behind the scenes as we begin preparing for this year’s Charity Dance Show, and we can’t wait to see it all come together!

Congratulations to all of our students on an outstanding set of Summer Term examination results! 🩰✨

We are delighted to celebrate an exceptional achievement, with 80% Distinctions and 20% Merits across our examination entries.

These results are a testament to the dedication, perseverance, and hard work shown by every student throughout the term. We are incredibly proud of the commitment each dancer has brought to their training and of the high standard they have achieved.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to our families for their continued encouragement and support.

We are absolutely delighted to share the exciting news that all four of our Cecchetti Scholar audition candidates have been successful! 🩰✨

A huge congratulations to Bethan, who will be returning for her sixth year in the scholars programme, as a Class 2 Scholar, Olivia, who will continue into her second year as a Class 2 Scholar, and Nell and Sofia, who will begin their Cecchetti Scholar journey in Class 1 this September. The students will attend a weekly lesson in London at Arts Ed.

The ISTD Cecchetti Scholars Programme is a prestigious, fully funded training programme supported by the Cecchetti Society Trust, designed to nurture exceptionally talented young dancers. Scholars take part in additional specialist coaching, repertoire, workshops, performance opportunities, and masterclasses with leading teachers and professionals, further developing their technical ability, artistry, musicality, and understanding of the Cecchetti Method.

Places are awarded through a highly competitive audition process, making selection a significant achievement in itself. To have all four of our students offered places this year is something we are incredibly proud of and reflects their dedication, commitment, and love of classical ballet.

Congratulations to Bethan, Olivia, Nell, and Sofia on this outstanding achievement. We look forward to following your continued journey as Cecchetti Scholars. 🤍

Congratulations to Olivia on being awarded the Musicality Award at the end of the Cecchetti Scholars academic year 🩰✨

The Cecchetti Scholars programme supports talented young dancers through specialist training, performance development, and a deeper study of the Cecchetti Method. This special award recognises a dancer who demonstrates exceptional musical awareness, artistry, and the ability to interpret and respond to music with confidence and expression—qualities that are at the heart of the Cecchetti Method.

To receive this award during her first year as a Cecchetti Scholar is a wonderful achievement and reflects Olivia’s dedication, commitment, and thoughtful approach to her dancing. We are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished this year and look forward to seeing her continue to flourish.
