I just dive in, raw dog. No gloves, no fancy outfits, no pre-workout supplements, often no breakfast!
A lot of my clients are the same--maybe a coffee and a banana before a morning workout--but no song and dance, just action 💪.
The number of posers in gyms is one of the many reasons I stopped training in gyms. Having my own studio is a blessing 😎.

Also, heat rises, you might find that sleeping downstairs is more bearable.
Warm drinks work as well. I like a mug of peppermint tea when it's hot.
