ESKA MINI OLYMPICS - Less than 1 month to go and limited places are filling fast. We are almost SOLD OUT. Another brilliant performance by our juniors at today's grading at the ESKA honbu in Stevenage. Fantastic sprint resulted in 100% success

We'll have fun next Saturday with some self defence and bag thumping!!

4 Years On!!

Last weekend saw our 4th anniversary and we were delighted to welcome ESKA's Chief Instructor Sensei Nursey's visit and brilliant lesson in celebration. A huge thanks to Sensei Nursey, our students and their dedicated parents

Now that we've passed another lockdown lifting milestone, its SOOO good to have the adults training once again. Here we are preparing to break the WORLD RECORD for Taikyoku Shodan 😉

First training session for 2021 this morning - so good to have students back in class rather than on zoom! Time to kick back a relax with a cuppa and a cupcake.

So grateful to our wonderful parents for all they do - including getting the kids up and ready every week, taxi service and keeping our juniors encouraged !!

Looking forward to next week’s lesson already

It's been far longer than anyone thought, but the next few months sees restrictions being carefully lifted and we're gearing up to see you and restart the fun, the joy and excitement which is Shotokan karate

Training for juniors ONLY will restart on Sat 17th April and we'll be welcoming existing and new members alike. Please contact me if your daughter/son is interested in starting

Adult training will restart in May in line with the next phase of restrictions being lifted - so just a little while longer to wait. Again new and existing members are both very welcome and we'll be maintaining social distancing, hand washing etc etc to keep us safe

Really, really, REALLY looking forward to seeing you all very soon. Stay well and keep safe

It would be easy to say "let's forget 2020", but we shouldn't forget the ones we've lost and the ones who have stepped up when things were falling apart. Key workers, volunteers and anyone who's remained positive or managed to put a smile on our faces

No doubt 2021 will be as tough or maybe tougher, BUT we've come this far together so why not all the way through - together!

Due to Tier 4 (aka lockdown 2.5) restrictions, our doors may not open when we planned in January, but we will open and we will welcome existing and new students alike back to shotokan karate, to reach new goals, to get fitter and have tremendous fun within a safe environment

So in the meantime relax, enjoy this season as best as you can and let's be positive about the days ahead

LD2.0 Is Over - And WE'RE BACK!!

Firstly, hope you and yours are well and got through LD 2.0 OK - 🤞

WE'RE BACK training together this Saturday and I'm looking forward to seeing our students (socially distant of course) once again

If you've been thinking of starting, we'd love to hear from you! If you're between 5 - 95, a starter or an old hand - you'll be very welcome

Classes are at 9am, 10am and 11am - but we have maximum number that can attend so please contact me first so I can find space
