After going through the UTA JLA program and gaining valuable feedback and experience Henry has now graduated as a Junior Leadership Academy Member.

Well done Henry, yet another young leader with a fantastic future ahead of you.

A huge congratulations to the students who took part in our Colour Belt Grading and Black Belt Assessments on Sunday 14th June 2026.

Throughout the morning, students demonstrated their hard work, commitment, perseverance, and determination as they tested for their next belt grade or completed their Black Belt Assessment on the journey towards their next Dan grade.

For our colour belt students, grading is an important milestone that reflects the effort and dedication they put into their training week after week. Every new belt earned represents another step forward in their Taekwon-Do journey.

For our black belts, the assessment process plays a vital role in preparing them for their future Dan grading. These assessments are conducted between Dan grades to help students monitor their progress, identify areas for improvement, and ensure they are developing the skills, knowledge, and standards expected at the next level.

We would like to thank the grading examiner for their time in making sure each student received dedicated attention.

Meet Theo!

Theo first stepped onto the mats as a 6-year-old in our Little Dragons programme. Fast forward 15 years, and despite facing a few set backs through injury along the way, he is now preparing to take his 2nd Degree Black Belt grading later this year.

His journey is a fantastic example of what can be achieved through dedication, perseverance, and a love for Taekwon-Do.

What makes Theo's story even more special is that he is one of many students who started in our Little Dragons classes and have continued their training through their teenage years and into adulthood. Watching our students grow in confidence, skill, and character over the years is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

We're incredibly proud of how far Theo has come and can't wait to see him take the next step in his Taekwon-Do journey.
