Huge congratulations to our GCSE Class of 2026! These results truly prove that Hitchin Boys' School is a school for boys with serious ambition:
70% of all grades achieved a Strong Pass (Grade 5+)
36% of grades were Grade 7 or above
20% of all grades were top-tier Grade 8 or 9
Beyond the numbers, we are immensely proud of this cohort's determination, diligence, and grit. Many of our students have overcome significant challenges to far surpass their expected trajectories.
As Headmaster Mr Bennett shared:
"Our focus is on helping each boy to feel known for who they are today, but most importantly who they can be tomorrow... Throughout their journey with us, they have shown that there are infinite ways to find success. I commend each boy, their families, and our tireless teaching staff who helped them reach their personal best."
