What do you do on the hottest Friday of the year, after a school residential and at the end of a very busy week?

You fill the hall with 140+ hot, excited children, fuel them with sweets and snacks, turn up the music and hope for the best! πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸŽΆπŸ¬

A huge thank you to everyone who supported today’s PTA non-uniform day and disco – the children had a fantastic time! πŸͺ© Special thanks to our amazing army of PTA mums and the staff who stayed behind after school and got stuck in to make it all happen.

It was especially memorable for our Year 6 children, enjoying their final ever St Ipps disco together. πŸ’™ πŸ’›

And finally, a huge shout out to CJDJ for the brilliant tunes and party vibes! 😎

πŸ₯ˆ 2nd place overall
πŸ₯ˆ 2nd in Year 5/6
πŸ₯ˆ 2nd in Year 4
πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ 2 relay medals
πŸ… 9 individual medals
⭐ 61 medals in total!

An incredible achievement, especially considering our Year 5 and 6 children had only returned from PGL last night. 😴

Well done to everyone who took part. You represented the school brilliantly with determination, teamwork and outstanding sportsmanship. We are so proud of you πŸ‘πŸΌ

And that’s a wrap! πŸŽ‰

Our PGL adventure has come to an end and everyone is home safe and sound after a fantastic weekend in North Yorkshire.

The children have been an absolute credit to the school throughout the trip, demonstrating our values every step of the way. Their behaviour, manners, resilience, courage and enthusiasm have made us incredibly proud.

From tackling new challenges to supporting one another and making memories that will last a lifetime, they have been simply brilliant.

Thank you to all the staff who gave up their time to make the trip possible, and to the families for their support.

We are so proud of every single one of these wonderful young people.

Now it’s time for some well-earned rest… sleep well everyone! 😴

In Collective Worship this morning, we listened to the story of The Thankful Coat. The children in Class 1 have been trying on the Thankful Coat, thinking about all the things they are grateful for 😍
