🌿 Welcome back!🌿

What a lovely first day of our new school year! 💙 💛

The school has been full of happy faces, excited voices and lots of catching up as we welcomed everyone back through our gates.

It has been especially wonderful to see the children settling so confidently into their new classes, getting to know new teachers, making new friends and beginning another year of learning together. Our first group of new Reception children have made a fantastic start too — what a super first day! ⭐️

🍂 We are very much looking forward to welcoming everyone back for the start of the autumn term tomorrow. 🍂

The staff have been busy with two days of training and are ready to fill their classrooms with children and chatter in the morning. 💙💛

We are especially excited to welcome our new children and families joining Reception and across the school. See you tomorrow! 🥰

Today our beautiful Miss Walker became Mrs Lucas! 💕 What a stunning bride you made! We’re sending you both so much love and happiness as you begin this wonderful new chapter together.

Farewell Year 6! 👋 💙💛😭

What a fantastic way to end another wonderful school year! 💙💛

Our final day was full of smiles, celebrations and a few happy tears. Year 6 enjoyed their final assembly, favourite hymns, yearbooks, house points trophy, sports awards and medals before heading over to church for a moment of quiet and blessing from Rev Tricia. They had a lovely time signing shirts and sharing one last day together.

There was lots of laughter as we staged a very serious wedding rehearsal for Mini Miss Walker, complete with a beautiful bride and a very special photo shoot to help her prepare for the big day ahead! 👰📸

We also said goodbye and good luck to staff moving on to exciting new adventures and wished our school cook all the very best as she prepares to welcome her new baby.

The day ended with an emotional final walk up the drive, as Year 6 were applauded and waved off by the rest of the school—a fitting farewell to a truly special group of children. 💙💛

Today was a truly special and memorable day for our Year 6 children as they led their beautiful Leavers’ Service at St Ippolyts Church. 💙💛

Together, they shared treasured memories, reflected on their journey through primary school and gave thanks for the friendships, experiences and opportunities that have shaped them into the wonderful young people they are today. It was a moving service, full of laughter, reflection and a few tears, celebrating all they have achieved during their time at St Ippolyts.

This year’s leavers began their school journey in Reception in 2019, only to have their early years disrupted by the pandemic. Like so many children of their generation, they faced challenges no one could have imagined. Yet they have shown remarkable resilience, courage and determination, bouncing back stronger to become the kind, confident and inspiring young people we are so proud to call our Year 6 class.

After the service, the celebrations continued back at school with our annual End of Year Family Picnic. Families enjoyed a wonderful afternoon together, with a fantastic birds of prey display, bouncy castle fun, games, laughter and plenty of opportunities to celebrate another successful year at St Ippolyts. 🦅
