Class 4 have been learning about regrouping in maths with a fun game called โBankerโ.
The aim was to collect the biggest team number they could in 5 minutes. They took it in turns to roll the dice and ask the banker for the equivalent number of ones. Once they had more than 10 ones, the banker had to regroup them for 1 ten.
Then, when they got to 10 tens, they had to regroup it for 1 hundred. 1๏ธโฃ 1๏ธโฃ0๏ธโฃ 1๏ธโฃ0๏ธโฃ0๏ธโฃ

They got into pairs and wrote down questions they would ask someone from the past on what their school was like, followed by some role play. The children took it in turns to come up the front and answer the questions as if they were a child from the past, explaining what their school was like.
