Youth Roadshow for children with dyspraxia aged 11 -16
and their parents/carers in Hertfordshire!
After a successful pilot of the Youth Roadshow last year in the West Midlands The Dyspraxia Foundation are excited to announce that the next Youth Roadshow will be taking place in Hitchin, Hertfordshire thanks to local funders. Following the fun had by all with cooking and drumming workshops we are pleased to be able to offer both of these again for free to those aged 11-16 accompanied by their parents and carers.
To start the series of events, there will be an informal online meeting early evening on Wednesday, 10th May with a fun quiz and the opportunity to meet organiser Claire Cripps, our Youth Information Officer. Claire will go on to host two face to face events at a venue in our home town of Hitchin with ample parking and a short walk from the station.
We have our second event which will be in person on Saturday, 13th May facilitated by COOKSTARS where there will be the opportunity to make a delicious two course dinner which you will be able to finish and enjoy with your parents/carers. There will also be the opportunity for parents/carers to meet socially and chat with our team to find out more about dyspraxia and the Dyspraxia Foundation.
The third in the series of events will be in person and held on Saturday, 10th June also at the same spacious venue. It will give children and parents/carers the opportunity to take part in a fun musical session of West African Drumming with Hartbeats.
The dates for all three FREE workshops are: 10th and 13th May and the 10th of June.
For more information please contact Claire at [email protected].
