In our quaint village school we cherish the rarity of having our very own dedicated library space so it has been on our radar for a while to update this wonderful space📚 Despite our modest size, we've have this special space just for our library—a luxury many small schools don't often enjoy. So since March, we've been hard at work revamping our beloved library to give it the makeover it truly deserves.

Last Friday, after much anticipation, we unveiled the stunning transformation to our school community. Our walls now tell a whimsical tale, thanks to the incredible talents of our mural artist .sia.art. From the charm of "The Tiger Who Came to Tea" to the enchantment of Harry Potter and the wonder of Alice in Wonderland, our library walls now host a gallery of beloved book characters.

The reaction from our students was nothing short of ecstatic! Here's what a few of them had to say:

Preston Primary School had a blast at the TSC London mini marathon this Saturday 🏃 🏃🏻‍♀️ 🏃🏻‍♂️

Several of our students participated in the 1-mile/2.6km run along the renowned London route, starting from Horse Guards Parade, passing Buckingham Palace, and finishing at The Mall! 🇬🇧

Congratulations to everyone who took part, to the dedicated children who did so well and a very special thanks to our very own PSA Faye for making this event happen.

Each child raised funds for the school and received a well deserved medal. Looking forward next year! 🥇

We are thrilled to announce that Preston Primary School has maintained its overall ‘GOOD’ rating from Ofsted in the latest inspection. Additionally, we are delighted the inspectors have acknowledged their efforts in behaviour management, particularly in adhering to suspension and exclusion protocols thus elevating the behaviour rating to ‘OUTSTANDING’.🌟

🎄The PSA are still hoping for more donations for our raffle and bottle tombola at the Christmas fair next weekend. If you can donate anything we have a box in the atrium at school where you can leave your items.

🎄Have you filled your Crazy Crackers yet? Just like our Jolly Jars we are hoping you can fill the cardboard inners we sent home with fun things the kids will love! Once filled these can also be left in the atrium where we will collect them.

🎄The PSA are having our fist Christmas Jumper Swap! There is no fee for this, just bring in your old, clean Christmas jumpers and swap them! We are holding our first swap on Monday 27 November and another on Monday 4 December.

We are looking forward to seeing you all at our Christmas Fair on Saturday 2 December between 2:00pm - 5:00pm!
