Bags2School is a company which specialises in good quality second hand clothing that can be re-used.
Please use this opportunity to have a clear out over the weekend and fill a bag. Children will be bringing an empty bag home from school today, however, if you have lots to donate, you can always use extra black bin bags.
These bags will be collected from school on the morning of Tuesday 29th March at 9am and weighed. Bags2School will pay the PSA depending on the weight of the collection.
This is a great way to raise money for the school so we urge you to support your PSA.
Please bring your bags to school on the morning of Tuesday 29th March by 9am and not prior to this. Bags must be brought into the conservatory and cannot be left outside. The driver will check to ensure that the contents are not wet or damp before accepting the collection.

🎄Sadly we didn’t win this year at the Hitchin Christmas Tree Festival - there was some stiff competition. A huge thank you to everyone that made a decoration and to those that went to put the tree up and take it down today - there wouldn’t have been an entry without you! 🙌🏻
Here’s to next year!!!!
🍾ALL SOLD! Thank you! Wishing I’d bought more supplies now!
🍷Because our Christmas Fair couldn’t go ahead as planned there were some items that should have made it to the fair for sale including these wine glass charms made by yours truly, Vicky Pullinger.

🍷Take a look through the pics and decide which ones you want and have a look at the list below which tells you how many of each quantity I have (I’ll update THIS list as/when/if any are sold)
🍷Ping me a message or email at [email protected] to let me know which ones you want and I can make sure I still have them

🎄Has anyone been to the Hitchin Christmas Tree Festival yet? I have to say there’s some amazing trees there but I know which one got my vote 😉
There’s a few more pictures of our tree in the comments.
🎄What an amazing day!!! The PSA are truly exhausted but so happy that all the children seemed to enjoy themselves!
They all had a visit from the Big Man himself and received a gift from him. The younger ones were lucky enough to visit his grotto and have a story with him.
They all had great fun knocking that mischievous little elf off his shelf, winning some awesome prizes on the tombola and they all desperately searched for the golden feather in our Turkey!
The crafting table was a huge success - if they haven’t come home with their crafts we’ll see that they get them next week as some of them still needed to dry.
Amazing work today by our volunteers - I think it’s safe to say they all deserve a glass of wine tonight!
🎄T O M O R R O W 🎄
We didn’t want the children to miss out on all the fun of the Christmas Fair so the PSA have arranged a Christmas FUNdraising day for them to include all the fun and games of our usual fair.
We’ve organised a day packed full of fun and activities to help raise funds for the PSA, Children in Need and the Make a Wish Foundation AND they can enjoy the day in their Christmas jumpers and Santa hats!
Here’s what we have lined up….
🎅 Santa dash
🧝♂️ Knock the Elf off the Shelf
🦃 Pluck a lucky feather from the Turkey and possibly win a prize
🏠Find which chimney Santa got stuck in for a chance to win a £10 voucher
✂️The children can enjoy some crafting fun and decorate a bauble or card to take home
🍀 There will be a lucky dip for a chance to win an extra Christmas present
🥤 Refreshments will be provided
🤫 We also have heard that a very special guest will be dropping by with some early Christmas presents before he gets his final rest in before the big night….
To help cover the cost of the fair and help raise funds for the PSA we are asking for a voluntary donation of £5 per pupil. Father Christmas has also asked that families consider making an optional small donation to Make a Wish Foundation or Children in Need. To do this you can follow the link below and please do reach out to the PSA if you have any questions 💛
🎄Our Elves and the Shoemaker themed Christmas tree for the Hitchin Christmas Tree Festival is up and ready for the weekend! How amazing does it look?!
🎄 Hi everyone!
A little plea for donations for the kids’ tombola at the Christmas Fair on Friday…
If you have any new toys / games / craft kits / puzzles / books that need a new home, or unopened boxes of confectionery, please consider donating them for the kids’ tombola.
Please drop them off in the atrium by 3:15 pick up on Thursday. Many thanks!!
Katie (PSA Chair) xx
