βοΈ New employee catch-up lunch! βοΈ
Supporting our team starts from day one.
As part of our onboarding process, we are inviting all new team members to attend a feedback and catch-up lunch.π₯
These sessions provide an opportunity to reflect on their first few weeks, revisit key information shared during induction, and ensure expectations and communication remain clear.
Most importantly, they create a relaxed space where staff can share their experiences, ask questions, and feel comfortable seeking support whenever they need it. β₯οΈ
We want every team member to feel welcomed, valued, and confident in their role. By checking in regularly, we can celebrate successes, address any concerns, gather valuable feedback, and ensure our team has everything they need to thrive. β¨
Graze boxes from our friends at β thank you! ππ»

π Child Safety Week π
We hope youβve enjoyed seeing a little glimpse into the ways we help keep children safe here at nursery as weβve shared daily posts throughout Child Safety Week.
Keeping children safe is at the heart of everything we do, and supporting families with helpful information is an important part of that.
Thatβs why we have a range of information leaflets available for all families to access throughout the year, covering topics such as safer sleep, toy safety, preventing poisoning, burns prevention, potty training, school readiness, and much more.
Weβd love to hear from you if there are any topics youβd like more information about, or any leaflets youβd find helpful as a parent, please let us know. π

π¦π¦Ί Child Safety Week π¦Ίπ¦
This week, weβll be sharing lots of tips, advice, and activities to celebrate Child Safety Week and help keep our little ones safe every day!
Today was all about Road Safety. Our Pioneers impressed us with their fantastic knowledge and understanding of different road signs and what they mean. ππΌ
We discussed how to stay safe near roads and why itβs important to always be aware of our surroundings.
Some important road safety reminders:
πΆ Hold hands when walking near roads and crossings.
π Wear bright or reflective clothing, especially in dark or poor weather conditions.
π¨βπ©βπ§ Stay close to a trusted adult at all times.
π² Always wear a properly fitted helmet when riding bikes, scooters, or balance bikes.
π Stop, look, listen, and think before crossing the road.
The children also had lots of fun playing a game of Stop and Start, practising listening carefully and following road safety instructions. π¦
As part of Child Safety Week, we will be handing out some handy reflective key rings to our families throughout the week. Parents! please feel free to help yourself and take one home.
β¨ Stay seen, stay safe! β¨

We loved welcoming back to nursery for another wonderful Makaton session! π
Introducing Makaton from an early age helps children build confidence in communication, supports language development, and encourages inclusion for all children. Through signs, symbols, and speech, Makaton gives every child a way to express themselves and understand others. β¨
At nursery, we implement Makaton throughout our daily routines β from songs and story time to mealtimes, emotions, and transitions β helping children learn naturally through play and interaction every day.
A huge thank you to Faye for continuing to support our team and children on their Makaton journey! π€π«

Little moments of calm π§ββοΈπ
Every week, our little ones in The Snug and The Den enjoy a Baby Yoga & Reflexology session with the lovely πΏ From gentle stretches to soothing touch, these sessions are all about connection, calm, and curiosity.
At this stage, experiences like baby yoga are so valuable. They support physical development, balance, and coordination. Reflexology adds an extra layer of relaxation, promoting better sleep and overall wellbeing. β¨
Most importantly, itβs a lovely way to build trust, strengthen bonds, and give our babies space to explore movement in a safe, nurturing environment.
A weekly moment of calm we all look forward to! π€π«§
