We’ve been utterly overwhelmed by the love over these last few weeks.

From gorgeous hand-drawn pictures and heartfelt cards to thoughtful gifts and delicious treats – like this stunning (and tasty!) handmade cake we received today from one of our lovely families on their final day before heading off to ‘big school’ in September. 🥹

⭐️ New employee catch-up lunch! ⭐️

Supporting our team starts from day one.

As part of our onboarding process, we are inviting all new team members to attend a feedback and catch-up lunch.🥗

These sessions provide an opportunity to reflect on their first few weeks, revisit key information shared during induction, and ensure expectations and communication remain clear.

Most importantly, they create a relaxed space where staff can share their experiences, ask questions, and feel comfortable seeking support whenever they need it. ♥️

We want every team member to feel welcomed, valued, and confident in their role. By checking in regularly, we can celebrate successes, address any concerns, gather valuable feedback, and ensure our team has everything they need to thrive. ✨

💙 Child Safety Week 💙

We hope you’ve enjoyed seeing a little glimpse into the ways we help keep children safe here at nursery as we’ve shared daily posts throughout Child Safety Week.

Keeping children safe is at the heart of everything we do, and supporting families with helpful information is an important part of that.

That’s why we have a range of information leaflets available for all families to access throughout the year, covering topics such as safer sleep, toy safety, preventing poisoning, burns prevention, potty training, school readiness, and much more.

We’d love to hear from you if there are any topics you’d like more information about, or any leaflets you’d find helpful as a parent, please let us know. 💭

🚦🦺 Child Safety Week 🦺🚦

This week, we’ll be sharing lots of tips, advice, and activities to celebrate Child Safety Week and help keep our little ones safe every day!

Today was all about Road Safety. Our Pioneers impressed us with their fantastic knowledge and understanding of different road signs and what they mean. 👏🏼

We discussed how to stay safe near roads and why it’s important to always be aware of our surroundings.

Some important road safety reminders:
🚶 Hold hands when walking near roads and crossings.
🌟 Wear bright or reflective clothing, especially in dark or poor weather conditions.
👨‍👩‍👧 Stay close to a trusted adult at all times.
🚲 Always wear a properly fitted helmet when riding bikes, scooters, or balance bikes.
👀 Stop, look, listen, and think before crossing the road.

The children also had lots of fun playing a game of Stop and Start, practising listening carefully and following road safety instructions. 🚦

As part of Child Safety Week, we will be handing out some handy reflective key rings to our families throughout the week. Parents! please feel free to help yourself and take one home.
